when you're trying to learn a song, do you always make sure that you can play it perfectly from beginning to the end?or do you just really enjoy jammin into that particular song? i get pissed off most of the time because i can only play a certain song accurately for like 2/3 out of 5 times

It depends on your purpose! I actually don't think I've ever learnt one song from start to finish. In my first years I just learnt the parts I was into, part to jam along, part to incorporate them into my playing :)

what do you think about INF3 pickups?

The only Ibanez pickups I like were the Dimarzio IBZ rebranded ones from late 80s/early 90s, current Ibby pickups generally suck balls.

Practicing or not with a metronome?

There's not a "universally right" answer, for example I almost never use it and know lots of others who don't. If you're confident about your "inside timing" and have solid technique and groove, you can work without one during practice. When I do use it, it's to check at which speed I can bring up certain licks or techniques, it's nice to give a certain value to your current level :)
Although if you're not used to a certain exercise and still have to understand its mechanics or fingering, definitely use a metronome since it will be like a nazi telling you "don't cheat when you play it, don't fucking stop and follow me".

is the neck Jugg a slightly higher output vhii ? Do those pickups have similar voicing ? I am only talking about the neck position

Yes i think they have a fairly similar voicing, I still prefer VHII though

Do you do any tweaking to the Global Eq of your axe fx or is that just left as is?

Nah all flat. If I do any tweaks it's on the preset itself

I have a gibson les paul and i have 2 bands..One Modern metal like periphery and one blues/rock..Is possible to find a bare knuckle pickup set to cover all my needs for those 2 bands (dropped C tuning and D# tuning depending one the band) ...

Most BKP sets are versatile enough to cover any ground, that being said I'd recommend Rebel Yell bridge and VHII neck, they rule on Les Pauls and would shine for both purposes!

hey dude, i heard you build axe patches on demand. what do you charge for let's say a basic rhythm sound?

It depends if it's a patch built for studio and recording only purpose, live setting or just playing by yourself, if I have to dig in more with custom impulses, or directions (make it sound like etc etc)...
Generally it shouldn't take more than 2/3 hours on my end, with that time involved I think 29$ is a very fair price, it would require you sending me a "dry guitar" file recorded with your Axe so I can work with it and build a custom preset for you.

How's the necks of the JP7 EBMM guitars compare to the Ibanez 7 strings? I'm a fan of Ibanez 6 strings but absolutely hate the necks on the 7 and 8s, way too thin.

the jpxi, jp12 and jp13 models have thinner profile than other jp7s, which have a bit more substance but are still very thin. I think the models I've mentioned have even thinner necks than Ibbies. I find them more comfortable than Ibanez 7 necks since they're not as flat; thin or fat doesn't make a difference to me, it's more of the carve shape in my experience. In the end any neck shape works for me anyway, if you have correct posture you should be able to adapt pretty easily to any neck.

Ibanez RG420cm Mahogany Body, maple neck and rosewood fret board, scale idk, I play through a Peavey 5150 and I want new humbucker pups Dimarzio or SD since I cannot afford BKP. I like a good chug bottom end to my bridge pickup and I want my neck pickup to sing :P I like VoM and Caliban a lot. thnx!

I'd go with Dimarzio Illuminators!

Howdy! when you release your album are you going to share your patches? that would be so awesome of you!

Most likely the album is going to be reamped with real amps :) cleans and leads will be Axe Fx II though. I will still give it a shot building a patch for the rhythm recordings, we'll choose what sounds best in the end!
Regarding sharing them, I dunno I'll think about it :) I actually already build custom patches for people that ask for it.

he, mica facile rispondere :) direi sicuramente due punti su tutti:

Hello! How do you think Juggernauts would sound in an ash body/burl maple cap/pale moon ebony fretboard/maple & wenge through neck guitar? For prog metal. Or would anything else suit better in your opinion?

depends on many other factors like tuning, scale etc, but generally speaking I'd say they would be good yes! Not a huge fan of the specs you mentioned though, good looking woods are cool but this doesn't mean they will sound good together

Ciao Francesco!

Hi! I don't speak english excellent but there is the question, how can I play guitar more than 3 or 4 hours? because I'm bored after 1 h aprox, and I don't have exercises to play, just play my own songs and others that I learn, and I want to play more. Thanks for answer! Saludos :) haha

Take breaks in between, watch a tv show, eat or drink something....then go back at it again! :)

I've been your fb friend for a year, do you mind if I finally message you? Your music is great

Sure why not! Thanks :)

I'm thinking of getting a blackhawk bridge pickup. Is it better to get a set, or just one? I rarely use the neck pickup, but it would look weird if it wasn't matching.

I think you just answered that yourself :)
