Are most humbucker replacements compatible with each other? Like if I wanted to replace stock pickups with SD or Bare Knuckle, will the wires all connect properly? Sorry I'm not so good with the technical parts. Thanks man.

Not in italy :) italian diminutives are Fra, Franci, Francè, Checco but some close friends call me Frakkio. In english some people say fran or franny which is very weird and ugly to me haha

Was the JP13 kind of a let down in terms of color? The previous ones had nice finishes and ebony fretboards but the 13 looks kind of cheap :/
I love the JP13 finish but I'm not convinced about the whole active preamp thing. 17" radius is ok but I preferred ebony given it's already a warm sounding guitar
what 7 string will replace your old jp12?

Are you handy enough to do most of the guitar mods yourself (changing pickups, pots and wiring) or do you get it done at a shop?
I do all my setups but I'm not handy enough (yet) to change pickups and pots myself. I wanna learn though!

12-52 drop C 6 corde, 60 + 10-46 drop A 7 corde. Generalmente non capisco tutte queste domande sulla scalatura, ció che va bene a me non va bene ad un altro, sempre meglio provare da soli e decidere :)

I upgraded stock pickups in my guitar with bkp's, but didn't get the pot changed. Is it a noticeable difference/ does it just make it sound a little cleaner?
It's a slight difference, retains a little bit of more open-ness.

How do you get your arpeggios so clean sounding with distortion ? Do you mute the other strings while sweeping ?
I practiced! Proper muting is mandatory
What do you think of the ibanez vine/tree of life inlay?
A bit distracting on my eyes when playing :) would never do it on a custom, I just think about steve vai related with it so it's good on jems only imho

I have a neck thru guitar with really good construction but unfortunately the electronics aren't so good. Any suggestions?
Bypass tone pots, change pickups with better ones and change volume pot with a BKP 550k. It's actually something I'd do on EVERY guitar
Are you good at two handed tapping? Can you improv while tapping?
I'm not good at improvising and even less with tapping :) I like tapping for sure though!
