It depends on the model, the early 90s ones are the best, I own a UV777GR that sounds fantastic.

what is your opinion about dimarzio illuminators? would you give em a try?
Seems like a better version of the Crunch Lab and Liquifire models, I've always thought they were too dark and kinda muddy, but liked the core sound and thickness/power. If the new Illuminators keep the core sound, tighten the bass response and add more presence, I'm sure they're very good.

eh ce ne sono un sacco di rarissimi, alcuni con tiratura sotto ai 10 o anche sotto ai 5...la mia UV777GR è una di 340. Penso che google possa sicuramente aiutarti meglio di me :)

Not at all, tonewoods are important but there are many more factors to be considered, actually often terribly underrated.
Hey Francesco. =) Just curious, will the particular DAW used to record a song alter the quality of the music made? For example, if I make a song on Cockos Reaper, would it be of different QUALITY than if I recorded it using Cubase for example? Thankyou. =)

Elixir 10-46+56+68 that come stock with every DC800. Never changed strings with that guitar, actually never even did a setup, it was perfect out of the box.
PS: that doesn't mean it was the right gauge for the tuning, but it worked :)

Basswood JP7, maple bolt on neck, piezo. I can't narrow down which BKP I want in the bridge. I've listened to many clips, but its hard to choose. C-BH, C-NB, Black Dog, AM, PK, MM, HD? I want tight, crunchy, full chords with clarity, warmth, fluid, dynamic, and versatile. Thanks!
A lot of BKPs would work but from your description I'd say ceramic Nailbomb bridge, Cold Sweat neck.
Can you recommend a practice method to improve my pinch harmonics ? I mean the fat ones on the 3rd fret of the bottom string that Gojira and killswitch engage are often using !
I can only do upstroke pinch harmonics, so can't help you :D in the rare times I can do them downstroke, I just go very close with my thumb a moment after I picked. Since I do them with upstrokes, my index does what the thumb is supposed to.
Regarding the schecter... would you prefer an esp ltd? (it can be anything from the 400 series) Emg pickups, mahogany, grover, etc.

I do record band's albums or EPs but don't produce at the moment, it would require too much time on my end, schedule with lessons and work is already tough. I'd love to in the future but only if I can commit to it 100%.
