How to play fast, I mean I am pretty good at the rythm playing but when it comes to soloing I suck, maybe because I feel it hard to remember solos. So you know playing fast isn't possible. Any tip brother?

Play and practise as much as you can and give it time. Nobody is born fast!

How would you describe walnut as a tone wood in comparison with maple and mahogany ?

I don't like walnut that much, It's got some of maple's tonal qualities but with more firm bass and a hair less mids, but it's not as consistent as maple so you could get either a beautiful sounding piece or a dull one.
I think good pieces work very well as top woods and even neck, but body....nah.

Is a custom Carvin or a Custom Skervesen guitar better? Or is there no difference in quality? thanks man!

I prefer Carvin because it's an estabilished company with incredible consistency in their products, also having a guitar finished in two months after the order is something I haven't seen anywhere else.
Both Carvin and Skervesen have top notch woods, top hardware and great customer service, but Carvin is my preference.

Is it worth to buy an iPad loaded with Bias instead of the POD 500HD to make recordings of a realitevely good quality?

I think you can definitely make solid recordings with both, up to you!

Can you recommend me a good 7string in a price range of 400 to 500EUR ?

To be honest there's nothing "good" around that price range nowadays, but if you can find a used Japanese RG7620/7621, we're around that more or less.

I've got no problem with mixing bass, drums, synthesizer etc., but when it comes to integrating distorted guitars in the mix, i'm a major sucker. any advice? :/

Get the shit right at the source! Guitars require little processing within the mix, they have to be captured right otherwise it will just suck, no "turd polishing" will be effective.

Hey Francesco! Do you know how good the chances are to get a Blackmachine B6? Does he still make guitars? ^^ How long would I have to wait and what about the price? Guess I'm not up to date...

I seem to be unable to find my own thing. I don't feel like an artist, i feel like a crazy chemist who keeps getting ingredients from here and there to come up with a total rip-off of something else. Have you ever felt that way during your path? Not as inspired as you should be?

Sure I have moments, even months, in which I'm not as inspired and I don't come up with new riffs (which is actually a good thing since we have so many already). Early stuff in my teens sounded like a ripoff of the bands I was listening at the time, but give it time and it will eventually get better and more mature/personal :)

Hi francesco, I want to buy a 7 strings, do you think carvin is a good choice? And what model do you think i should go for? It cant be too expensive! Thanks for your time!

Yes, it's a good choice :) DC700 is the model I recommend!

Hey dude how do you deal with really cold temperatures due by weather and playing live?

I try to keep my hands warm with gloves, or put them in the pockets, use warm water if possible, and of course exercise a fair bit before performing.

Hey dude, I was wondering.. how much theory do you know? Ive heard some of your guest solos and they are insanely good! Could you give an insight to how you write solos? Also, any tips for someone who does everything by ear on where to start? Thanks a bunch!!

I'm not a theory master, I just know enough to properly name the "moods" I play :)
How to write solos? Listen to the backing track carefully and accentuate its flow with the guitar, know when it's time to shred or to "feel" it, opposites create balance but everything has to be cohesive together, not one lick after the other.
Where to start if you do everything by ear? Just use your ears, it's gonna be fine if they work well :)

So I am ready to pull the trigger on a carvin 7 string but I am not sure on what to get, there is the DC700, the 727, and the CT7. What do you think the overall differences would be? Any quality difference in the 727 since it's cheaper than the rest? I'm planning on a swamp ash/flamed maple top, nec

Main difference is design and of course the first two you mention are neck-thru, CT7 is set-neck. I like all of them, DC700 has very good bevels, 727 I like for the rounded sides, CT7 is a classy shape.
As I said many times already, no difference in quality since they're all built within the same factory, same guys, same tools.

Which carvin model is the one to go if someone loves neck through models and wants one of the highest line of carvin ? I am talking six string

Can't go wrong with the DC600 :) I also like the DC127, TL60 and of course the Becker signature a lot.

I just wanted to say thanks for taking the time to answer questions, it is very appreciated. You're awesome :)

Thanks ^_^

Whenever playing live do you always get all the notes correct ? I mean what if you miss or forget what comes next in a solo or track.. :P ? (Just a thought hehe )

Yes you must always play everything 100% perfectly otherwise the "OMG WRONG NOTE" pointing finger of death will kill you.
...what if I miss a note? whatever dude :)

Do you think a set of Bare Knuckles [Nailbomb ceramic (B) and Painkiller (n)] would sound sick in a 27.5" scale bolt-on, with poplar body. ebony fingerboard and flamed maple neck? I'm trying to reach a great tight sound for technical death metal, thanks bro

I honestly don't like poplar and with these other woods and baritone scale it will sound way too bright and thin. Yes it will definitely be ultra tight but sometimes it's too much and you lose musicality. With these specs, I'd say ceramic Warpig or Juggernaut bridge. PK neck is fine but I think Holy Diver neck would be better

What lens are you using with your camera for your videos or Abiogenisis vids for that matter? Do you record video and audio simultaneously?

It depends on the video, some are just crappy iphone camera or imac's built in camera with their internal microphones. Some others are Canon 550D or 600D, but I've used other cameras too for the drum covers.
Lens, it depends, sometimes Canon 18-55mm IS kit lens, sometimes 50mm f/1.8, or a 24mm L f/1.4 (Abiogenesis teasers). As of late I'm using a borrowed (until I can afford a 6D) Canon 600D with Sigma 30mm f/1.4.
On video/audio, again it depends :) some videos are simultaneously, some others I've recorded the audio portion separately.
