Logic guitar rig guy here. So the issue is that when I plug into my audio interface and run logic I get a raw guitar tone that just sounds like 100% clean untouched signal and that sound sticks around after I choose my tone from guitar rig and makes everything sound shitty. Google is not my friend.
Well that is supposed to sound like this. Your audio interface captures you dry guitar signal, and Guitar Rig sounds like crap so it's converting the sound into crap. I'd try Revalver or LePou plugins, give 'em a try they're free! :)

Fractal audio (axe fx), LINE 6 (pod hd pro, HD500) are cool but sound hollow... and will never sound as well as a tube amp because pure deep sound and blossomings harmonics are only in tubes; do you agree ? What is for you the avantages of numeric sound ?
With all the respect, this is bullshit. Plenty of proof already that Axe Fx or Kemper can sound glorious both live and recorded, also the giant versatility in tones they offer and ease in carrying them around makes them superior, imho.

I don't believe in the big eyed insect-like aliens that usual scifi movies portray, and I don't know what could classify as "evoluted" extraterrestrial beings since I'm sure their conditions would be so different that it wouldn't be comparable. It's a pain in the ass to properly set up and mic a drumkit, but if the drummer is good and comes well prepared, no it's not a pain in the ass for him.
What do you think of metal bands with 2-3 guitar tracks and a bass track playing the same riff with drums and nothing else? (no synth or keyboard). Is it dry sounding?
As always it depends on the music itself. Gojira are as minimal as possible but they still sound immense.
