When you go blackmachine, can you ever go back(machine)??

I still have to find something better than the ones I've tried, hard to go back

I am asking you because i even prefer the ultra than the kemper..I agree the kemper has a more tube feel to it but who says that this means that it actually sounds better..I dunno the axe ultra has a nice low end to it which i love !!!

Ultra can definitely achieve glorious tones as proved by Wintersun, Periphery, Severed Savior and tons of other bands :)

Best 7 string you 've ever played ?

Off the top of my head, in no particular order:
- Fred Brum's Blackmachine B7
- Spalted top B7 from Musikmesse 2012
- Fabio Morreale's KxK Sii 7
- my JP7 BFR Koa

Are skervesen guitar close to blackmachine guitars regarding quality ?

No they're not, but the price difference is also huge. Skervesen are definitely very good guitars for the money

Would you say kemper is better thn the axe fx ultra ?

Ummm yes. Actually it's the first time someone asks me about a comparison with the Ultra, never thought about it myself either. It's got better feel and can achieve better sounding tones, but the Ultra is fucking good too.

Morticians can make around 55,000 Euro a year, would you still consider it if you didn't do graphic design? Just wondering.

Better than be unemployed for sure, someone has to do it! For sure that someone has some pretty gigantic balls.

I really like the looks of kxks but I am turned off to the idea of tune o matic bridges. Do they feel like Gibson tune o matics because I find those to be EXTREMELY uncomfortable.

KxKs have recessed TOM bridges which are better for general action and hand position but the feel is very similar to the Gibson ones. I myself prefer Hipshots but never had any issue with any bridge, comfort-wise.

How do you do clean one handed tapping?

Short answer would be to just practice, long answer is about the muting technique regarding both your right and left hand, it's kinda hard to explain in words since I get quite in detail in explaining it visually. Muting is an "art" and a crucial part of guitar playing :)

When your album drops, I'm going to isolate your vocals and remix it to an electronic rap song

would be awesome, I'll give you the stems haha

if I were rich as fuck, i'd anonymously donate thousands of dollars to amazing bandcamp artists when they least expect it. i'm working on it though, I hope you wake up to a $100,000 donation one day and shit your pants

I was working on it too, but then I took an arrow in the knee

What was the most complex guitar piece you've learned so far?

Ummm very good question! I'm not sure...I remember at the time learning the "Altitudes" sweep picking solo by Jason Becker was really challenging.

It's not in the way that you hold me, It's not in the way you say you care, It's not in the way you've been treating my friends, It's not in the way that you'll stay till the end?

That solo....wow.

Omg I hope you sing powerful male opera vocal on new album, my balls might not be ready

I think I have more of a soft voice, definitely not "emo" but I'm not Russell Allen at all :) I'm just a guitarist mainly, there will be clean vocals but not all over the place, just some bits. It will be mainly scream/growl and everything in between. Our screamer rules!

i don't have much money now, but i support you 100%. thank you for the music

No prob dude, if I wanted money I'd be doing another job or music genre :) I just want as much people to listen to our shit. If they happen to like it, even better!

I am willing to take on a journey to create music which only consist of open string notes, compose this what-so-called dubstep, and have female subjects to commence a physical motion known as "twerking" to rule over the world. Would you like to take this choatic path a long my side?

Yes I will, at least I'll make more money than my crappy noodly thing called Shred haha :)

Serious question, would you ever accept a job as a coroner or mortician?

Well I admit I'm not tough enough to do that (never seen a dead body) but if the pay is high....I could think about it!

Do you mainly teach metal songs during your guitar lessons/are your students mainly into metal?

The majority of my online students are into Metal but the ones I teach in person have entirely different tastes. It's actually refreshing to teach them something like John Mayer, Toto or even Green Day :)

Would you ever join a gore metal band where you play on stage in fake blood and black shit?

I actually played in a brutal death band for a while...not that extreme but kinda :)

what draws you, to Carcass?

Fun story: when I was 13yo I was just listening to Metallica, Slayer etc and had no idea what growls or screams were. I went to my cousin's house and I saw all his vinyls and cassettes, told him "make me listen to something good!" and he brings this cd, Heartwork...first notes and screams and I'm like WHAT THE FUCK! That was actually scary, I didn't even know guitars could go so low (B standard) and voices so demonic. But then I loved every bit of it :)
Needless to say, Heartwork is still my favourite Metal album ever!
