How do you eq your axe fx rhythm tones ?
I eq them so that they're balanced and cut thru without being overly boomy or harsh.

I don't cover songs that often but I practice daily and work on my finger tone. Do you recommend against that path? or is it good and different?
I very rarely covered songs, just some riffs here and there. I worked on exercises and played stuff so that it sounded good, and noodled around a lot :)

am I the only one who tune drop A# AND C standard on a 7 string ? (i use 10-56 on a 26,5 scale guitar)
A lot of old school death metal bands use C standard on 7s, I think it's badass!

Don't like them, they lack character imho. The 8 string version is cool though

Yes but it's not among my favourites
What is the main difference in amp wattage? and what is headroom?
More watts means more volume/headroom and takes more volume for the amp to saturate nicely. Headroom is the "balls" part of an amp, the low/lowmids which make you feel the amp in your room/gut/chest.
What do you think about the FAS Modern amp?
I think it's pretty good but I just prefer others, it kinda "misses" something imho. Sounds like a weaker Das Metall.
Opinions on the Emg's Chris Letchford use? They're Emg 57-H and 66-7H
I'm sure they're really good. Active but with a more organic and classic voicing, I've only heard good things about them

Depends on what the company wants to do! Usually with Ibby it's pretty fast, if not immediate.

Saw this earlier today, gotta agree with Trooch here: Crunchlab and Liquifire both needed more presence, bite and aggression, so this new Illuminator pickups should fit well, expecially in a dark sounding guitar like the jp13
