Which BKP's (sets or different combinations) would you suggest for thrashy riffing and solo's in the styles of Extol and Opeth? Guitars are an Ibanez RG7421 (Drop A) and a Carvin H2T (Drop C, Chambered Swamp Ash, Ebony fretboard, Maple/walnut neck.)
Nice tastes! Definitely ceramic Nailbomb in the 7 string and I'd say either alnico Nailbomb or Holy Diver in the Carvin, these will definitely nail what you're looking for.

La sl2h è una classica jackson, ottima come tutte le loro made in USA. L'attacco è neck thru ed è super comodo

Dipende...in generale come semplicità d'uso e risultati usalo tranquillamente come scheda audio che va benissimo :)

Grazie :) qualsiasi pickup può suonare caldo oppure tagliente, dipende molto più dai settaggi e EQ dell'ampli in sè. Detto questo, certo ce ne sono un sacco adatti per pop-rock, l'Abraxas è un ottimo candidato!
Qual è la differenza tra i vari modelli della kemper? Ce ne sono 2 forme diverse ed entrambe di queste hanno una versione sui1500 e una sui 2000€

I deffinately recommend EVH 5150III 50w mini, or if you want an even more simple route, POD HD is very good.

Hey dude. I play guitar and have decent equipment but want to save up to get more. Unfortunately my friends like to spend money on food and other "things" I am sometimes persuaded into bringing money too. What should I do about this since it is interfering with saving up for gear?

Sup', I am kind of a noob in shredding.( I mean I can do some sweeping on 5 string but that's it) I have some difficulty with basic shred. I don't want to be the next Yngwie but i'd like to improve. Do you have any advice for me ? (I also have a problem with Sweeping+tapping for ex BOO machine solo
The short advice would be to just do stuff SLOW and raise the metronome only when you feel confident enough in playing that speed as clean as it gets. There should be no room for imperfections, otherwise it makes no sense to up the metronome and be fast but very unprecise. Also practice a lot and constantly every day. Or we can book a lesson and I give you every single tip you need to improve, but of course it's not free :)
What do you think are ideal neck relief and string heigh measurements (ballpark) for your style of playing?
I don't have any clue of numbers regarding neck relief or string height, I just setup the instruments and play them until they feel right.

Da un 2 annetti non molto purtroppo, spendo il tempo a finire il materiale per il disco ma contemporaneamente ci stiamo preparando per i primi live. Prima di Abiogenesis suonavo con un altro gruppo con molte date live...mi manca parecchio il palco :)
