do you like deathcore bands like whitechapel and suicide silence?

I don't generally like Deathcore but I like Suicide Silence and adore Whitechapel. Good bands and music prevail over genres or scenes that might be lacking in originality :) btw I find the last Whitechapel to be simply "Metal", not Deathcore.

Have you tried a Broderick Jackson yet? What did you think if so?

Yea tried it, very awesome indeed but I'd prefer if it had a flatter radius. It's a minor thing though, guitar is still plenty shreddable

fai un video dove parli in italiano? son troppo curioso di sentire la tua voce, ahahahah

Dio can non è che da inglese a italiano la mia voce si storpia completamente :) magari gesticolo un po' di più hahahah

Hi ! Which Decapitated albums would you recommend ?

Nihility which is imho the very first "technical death metal" album in history, at least the first to contain the modern elements of it. Then Organic Hallucinosis which is for most people their best one (I can agree), then the last one Carnival Is Forever which I absolutely adore, best Metal album of the last years (and one of my favourite mixes ever) along with Wintersun's Time I imho. The Negation is very cool too, "Three Dimensional Defect" is one of my favourites from Decap.

and the Rusty cooley wich fretboard you recommend for each purpose , maple or ebony ?

I'd go with ebony if it has a mahogany body, maple if it has an alder body

Hi francesco, do you like circle of contempt from sumerian records?

Love 'em, expecially the latest EP in which you can hear Sami Raatikainen all over it.

Dean Rusty cooley or a Schecter Jeff Loomis ? I have small hands so not sure if go for a Loomis, stretches when i play fast are a pain for my small hands :/

Both guitars are very good, if you want to shred then the RC7 (or RC7x) will serve you better, if you want massive rhythm tones the Loomis would probably be a better choice. The RC7 still sounds very good during rhythm!

Death metal like Decapitated, Necrophagist, Obscura or Djent ?

Decapitated is one of my ultra favourite bands so :)

What happened to your carvin ? :c the specs?

Sold it since I destroyed my car in a crash and needed money, specs are:
- all tung oil finish
- alder wings
- flame neck through
- burl maple top
- birdseye maple fingerboard
- abalone diamond inlays
- jumbo stainless steel frets
- wooden knobs
- ivory graphtec nut
- white pearloid Sperzel buttons
- abalone Carvin logo
- Dunlop straplocks

why not neck thru ?

It's not that I don't like neck-thru (my BRJ 8 is neck-thru), it gives a nice "firm headroom" punch to the instrument. But the neck should serve the purpose of giving stability and transmit frequencies to a resonant body, although if the neck IS the bigger part of the body (being neck-thru), in my experience it kills a lot of resonance and the tone loses a lot of character. I personally want the body to be the instrument's core tone, not the neck.

Is there any particular reason why You prefer alternate picking? Did You just learn that way or was is a conscious choice?

Alternate sounds "better" to my ears, more percussive and shreddy as fuck, economy would be more suited on jazz/fusion. That being said, different fingerings will require different approaches and there's plenty of use for economy picked arpeggios, check Rick Graham.

Are you often bombarded by teenagers who want the D.....and by D I mean djent

yes very often, but hey if that's what they like then I'm absolutely fine with that :)

Man you're such a nice person to your fans

Thanks, but I don't have fans, just friends who share my same passion, that luckily are into what I do and I'm very grateful for that :)

Hey Mr Filigoi, please tell us what guitars you got(all of them) and which one you like best and why!

I have an early 90s Ibanez collection which consists of heavily modded or to-be modded:
- '89 RG750WH
- '89 RG570FA
- '89 540PII
- '91 RG565EG
- '91 UV777GR
- '91 FGM100PS
- '93 RG550DY
These are mainly used to record solos or do lessons. Other guitars I have are:
- Blackmachine B6
- Blackmachine B2
- Ibanez Artcore Expressionist AFJ957
- Bernie Rico Jr Hesperian 824
All of these (apart from the Ibanez) are my main recording guitars in drop C, drop A and drop E tuning.
I had an EBMM JP12-7 but sold it, will get another JP sometime soon.

Hey! How much would it cost to turn a tab book into gp5-6? The intervals tab book so about 5 songs quite short, around 20-25 minutes of guitar work.

I'm sure the Intervals tab book has been written in GuitarPro. If they are releasing it in digital book only, I'm sure they have their reasons :)

how do you manage to maintain your guitar from starches and all! all of them looks like new :)

You gotta treat 'em well, they don't get wasted and cheat on you and are always there when you need 'em. :)

why are you maybe getting an new mm jp again when you say you sold your jp12? is it jp13 you want? or a other bfr model? thanks fran:)

Secret jp :) not sure if it will sound as good as the jp12 though, that guitar is phenomenal.

Fan of football?

Short answer: nope. Long answer: I don't hate football by itself but it's so hackneyed here in Italy by newspapers, media, people etc that the whole thing makes me despise it. Also, generally speaking the people I know who are very into football are closeminded dumb fucks.
