Are cheap, dry, rosewood fretboards a big turn off?
For me a bit yes, they're usually on cheaper guitars and that's just the way it is. I'm more turned off by 987542632 piece bodies with completely different pieces glued together, makes for a DEAD instrument.
How high do you wear your guitars when you play with a strap?
Quite high but not too much, the rule is that your right arm/forearm angle should be 90° when standing up but I keep it at like 70° or something like that. It's not Petrucci/Morello high haha :)
Do you wear fancy clothes when you play on stage or just your normal clothes?
Absolutely normal :) we want people to focus on the music and nothing else. If there's something fancy, it's instruments, not us for sure haha

How does it feel the neck joint on the '92 ibby rg550 ?
it's a square heel so higher fret access is not exactly the best, but tone and sustain make up for it and the guitar overall is glorious!
How can I improve my alternate picking technique? It looks like I fail everytime i try to develop that skill, I tried with the method of the metronome increased by 8 bpm each time but i still can't get any better
Explaining how to properly position your arm, forearm, wrist, hand and pick to get better at alternate picking cannot possibly be written in words, the only logic solution would be an alternate picking lesson via Skype.

Until now, Aftermath but I still have to test the Black Hawk better. I'll post a comparison between Crunch Lab and Black Hawk in a JP7 soon enough

Yes I like the two models you've mentioned a lot. Grammar Nazi note: all the people who put ' before the s probably don't realize that it actually means "property of", an "s" after the name would work just fine like any plural :)

What guitar forums are you a part of?
I don't post that much but often lurk ss.org, mg.org, andy sneap, fractal audio, bkp pickups and jemsite. There is an absurd amount of uninformed useless stuff within these, but if you subscribe daily with email updates you can discern better what can be of your interest instead of useless threads.
