Your opinion about the crisis on Italy?

Truth is always in the middle: yes we have bad politicians that make horrible choices and whatever blahblah, but if media weren't pushing about crisis so much, people would bother a bit less about it and actually wouldn't be that scared of spending their money, which is vital to make business flow.
Although the main problem in Italy is HUGE taxes, if you hire an employee and pay him 1k euros, you almost pay 2k overall because of taxes. This way companies don't want to hire anymore and just look for freelances, and this makes for an incredibly high unemployement rate.
If taxes were lower this wouldn't happen and it's so obvious, but as always there are "hidden powers" behind that want things to go like this because they said so.

Are you a fan of any electronic music?

I actually did a lot of DJing in clubs until two years ago, I absolutely adore electronic stuff like Four Tet, Caribou, Pantha Du Prince, Paul Kalkbrenner, Robert Babicz and LOTS of others. Unfortunately due to Abio and guitar I'm not as knowledgeable in the scene as I once was, but I still love it and take HUGE inspiration from it.

Are there certain aspects of your b6 that you prefer to your b2? As having both it seems like you would just play the b2, being that it is completely custom if that makes sense.

While overall the B2 is a superior instrument, I still play the B6 a lot and maybe even more...it has a certain super thick and at the same time defined attack in drop C that inspires me more than any other guitar I have, riff just come out of nowhere with it.
Generally speaking the B2 sounds richer, more expressive, while the B6 thicker, more direct.

Do you use Trillian?

I do, along with Omnisphere mainly, and a bunch of other stuff like NI Komplete, EWQL Complete Composers bundle, U-He Diva, Sylenth1 off the top of my head.

Out of your Ibby collection, which one would you say is the most versatile and solid?

They're all incredibly fuckin consistent and super versatile, it's one thing that all early 90s Ibbies have. There's one though that excels in versatility and that's the FGM100 Frank Gambale signature.

Have you played and or have an opinion on the Carvin 7 string models?

I've owned a DC727 and a DC800 but have also played all the other 6/7 string models. Simply put, you won't find another made in USA custom with that insane quality at a surprisingly low price. I love them!

can you recommend any awesome sounding basses for the 1000 dollar price?

For a little more than 1000$ you can get Dingwall Combustion. Alternatively, used Spector Euro, or even ESP or Ibanez

If reference to an earlier question, you sometimes prefer recording leads with your 550 as opposed to one of your blackmachines?

Almost always since it is tuned in E standard while the others are not, if the others were in E too, they would be equally good

What're your thoughts on the arguments for tonewood making a difference in an electric guitar? Does body wood make a difference in tone, or is the whole notion just marketing/internet hype?

It absolutely does, actually I'm soon going to post a test between two JP guitars with different woods and same pickups, you'll see.

quindi mi stai dicendo che non si va oltre ai 37" nel magico mondo dei bassisti? meglio provare ad andare un'ottava sotto o suonare la stessa nota quindi? :)

stessa ottava

If you were very rich, would you just order guitars nonstop?

All people affected by GAS, rich or not, do it. We are all doomed :)

Did you ever have long hair

I tried once, they didn't grow anymore even after many months, I wasn't brave enough to resist and cut them :( fail

so, you recommend use monitors for playing the axe, wich ones are good and not so expensive ?

KRK RP5, alternatively (better) Adam A5X

When you program drums, how much lower is the velocity of really fast blast beats as opposed to a regular hit?

It depends on how fast the blast beat is, on the snare sample itself, if it's the second/third hit in a row during the technique, if it's a hammer/bomb/old school blast...so many variables. Generally speaking though, it will be between 75 and 100. Use your ears!

How would you pull off a really good Dillinger-Esque tone with the AxeFX II? Amp models, cab sims, and EQ settings would be great! Looking to do a cover and get better at building tones overall!

It's not as simple haha :) I can't just snap my finger and say "let's get this tone". Something that works perfectly for me won't work as well on your guitar and hands.

Would you say its fine to buy an Agile for first 7 strings guitar or it a better alternative (cheap and better)?

Ibanez/LTD/Jackson X would be a better alternative imho

Is there anything that sounds like a Blackmachine though?

There are guitars at that level (Vik, KxK, etc) but all Blackmachines I tried had kind of a "signature" tone, so it's gonna be different. Not necessarily better or worse, just different :)
