I've seen that you have "liked" a few of my posts on SSO and those posts being about black metal, I must ask, are you heavily into black metal? Judging by the nature of Abiogenesis, I wasn't quite sure whether black metal appealed to you. If it does, what bands are you into?

hi Decap! You've heard just a small part of our stuff, I wouldn't say there's black metal but there's a whole lot more for sure. Also it might sound weird but I generally listen to completely different stuff than what I happen to write.
Basically I'm into most of the bands you mentioned, expecially deafheaven, altar of plagues, ash borer, agalloch, darkspace, deathspell, dodecahedron, krallice, oranssi, summoning, vhol, wolves and woods :)
I suggest you agrimonia, inter arma, celeste, abyssal, bolzer, absu, terra tenebrosa and lycus!

Do you think that a 27" wouldn't be so comfortable for soloing for small handed players? Or there's not so much difference to a 25.5"?

The difference is more in sound than feel, expecially for lead playing since the last frets are gonna be small nonetheless.
Oh btw, small hands don't matter much, It's all in the posture.

How do you add covered pickups to a JP12-7?

you make space for them :) take it to a tech to slightly reroute the cavities. Although not worthy imho, just go uncovered.

Absolutely! We already have a couple designs ready, but best to release music first and then open our online merch store of course.

Does the neck finish on your JP7 Koa feel exactly the same as the neck finish on a JPX or JP12? I played a custom shop JP6 once and it felt more plasticy than normal

yes, exactly the same. It's among the best gloss finishes you'll find along with Carvin, Suhr, PRS.

I think the majesty blue is my favourite finish. Not a sparkly blue though, more of a metallic one.
