Did you see the new iPhone 5s? What do you think?

Hate to admit it, but even if I totally despise how they advertise their stuff nowadays (bigger pixels....seriously?) I'll probably buy one, I definitely need a better front cam and slowmotion video is very cool too.

what were first metal songs you learned?

The very first riffs I learnt were Master Of Puppets, Battery, Raining Blood, Holy Wars, Du Hast and one of the tracks off Quake 2 :)

I cheked the Black Machine website and as we all know they are not in production. Maybe you have some insights as a customer for when this marvelouse brand will let some of us place our bids so we can get a piece of them godly instruments ?????? I'm interested in a B7

not anytime soon, and even longer than that

My Dimarzio preference is a Norton(b) and a Paf36th(n). What could I go for from BKP? I mainly play rock and fusion stuff. I also reply on a great clean tone.

I'd definitely go for a more classic voicing and lower output stuff, although it depends on the guitar and it would just be best if you checked the sample yourself on BKP website. I'd personally recommend a Mule set if you're brave, or Abraxas bridge and Black Dog neck if you want a bit more output with still tons of versatility.

dude have you seen this dude on YT? hes like 15 and owns a b2 and a axe fx 2 :(

He is a friend an an excellent guitarist for his age

What is the longest song you'd realistically release on an album as a single track? 20 minutes? 30 minutes? 40 minutes?

As long as it takes to deliver the message :) realistically speaking, the last track on the album is going to include many themes of the other songs, and will be long. Not 20 min long but still above normal length for sure.

what do you recommend to a beginner who haves a hard time learning to be better at soloing?

There's no black magic about it: practise to get it clean and flow well, when it's clean enough than up the metronome by 10bpm, repeat.

What amp models and cabs irs are you using in the axe fx ?

I like 5153 Red above all, also use PVH 6160 and other 5150 variations quite a bit. I like JVM OD2 a lot, Herbert Ch. 3, like Dizzy and Das Metall for certain stuff too. I guess that's it pretty much, still have to try other new amps though.
Regarding IR I usually prefer using third party ones but the Mesa OH v30 is a safe bet among the stock ones.

Maybe you haven't decided on just one, but what are your favourite top/fretboard combos for a DC800? If you got another, would you still get a flame maple fretboard?

As the previous answer, it entirely depends on the other woods involved. My previous DC800 had a birdseye maple fb, next one I might go with ebony, it sounds best for the low E. I am getting a CT74 with flame maple fretboard though

I need a high end guitar that will last me at least 5 years on its own, is the JP7 with piezo versatile enough to play pretty much any genre?

Absolutely, it is a very very versatile guitar, expecially the JPX with 5-way switch.

I want a dark coloured neck, do you personally prefer rosewood with ebony stripes, rosewood with maple stripes or wenge and bubinga?

It entirely depends on the other woods involved, everything matters. I'd generally prefer rosewood with maple but it depends

what are pros and cons of a satin finish, especially on the neck?

pros:
- smooth, generally smoother than a gloss finish
cons:
- it might be more prone to damage or show dings more easily
- if I want smooth I choose oiled, not satin
- it looks like donut's glaze to me which is kinda weird :D

Is Koa a good body wood, isn't it pretty much the same as mahogany?

kinda similar to mahogany, with more upper midrange

You are a good man for not spamming your band, that's why I checked it out and liked it (y)

Thanks man! I do believe that the best thing is just to use places that allow for public sharing like Facebook wall, Youtube, etc. rather than contacting people on their private inboxes. If the music is good, hopefully people will share it and other people will listen to it :)
Of course I still message friends and people I know about something I did music-wise, but if someone I don't know doesn't even say "hi" and links me something abruptly, it's not exactly the best "business card" you know :D

Would you be interested in trading your B6 for a Vik Duality 6 string?

Depends which duality, but if it were a 7 I'd be more prone to it

Mayones regius 7 or JP12 7 string ?

Depends on tastes and if you prefer tremolo vs fixed, very thin necks or bigger but still comfortable, gloss vs satin. For me JP12.

Do you like any of carvin's quilt maple finishes or are they kkind of over the top?

I love 'em, as long as you get a nice quilt top pretty much every finish rules

Thanks for everything Francesco, you gave me the confidence to play guitar and live my life like a champion.

Live your life at its full potential :)

Aside from the Koa JP7, what is your second favourite JP 7 string model out now?

Out now I'd say the Bali Burst JP12 mainly because it's all mahogany with ebony fretboard, rather than basswood with mahogany tone block like the normal JP12. Some time ago there was a limited edition with pau ferro fretboard, mahogany body and roasted maple neck, which actually is my other guitarist's JP, that's another favourite of mine.
