What BKP do you recommend for a 6 string in drop C for a really tight, mid focused tone, but still has versatility and the high end isn't unbearable? Also a neck pickup that can add a smooth texture to notes and vibrato. I guess sort of like John Petrucci's lead tone but at the same time fusion like

Not sure used you it or not but I have a problem with the tremol-no. I installed it just like in the video, tuned the guitar, put the screws on, but it doesn't work, doesn't fix the tremolo. I have a lo pro edge and a tremolo-no small clamp.
Never tried it but I will mount one shortly, hope it works for me :)
What tonewoods do you suggest for a 6 string bolt-on/neckthrough(whichever is more suitable) for soaring bright lead tones without being pointy on the higher end while still being able to have a tight upper-mid centered rhythm sound?BKP's to match would be great.
BKP Painkillers would be just perfect for the tight upper-mid centered thing, the neck pickup is excellent too. Woods: koa body, maple neck and fretboard, walnut or bubinga top, and bolt-on. A Carvin with these woods would turn out awesome!

Elixir doesn't make an 8 string set yet, and the 7 set's B string is thinner than most. What exactly do you use on your 8 string then? And do you use the standard 7 string set on your 7 strings?
I also play D'Addario strings which I actually prefer strictly tone-wise. I think Elixir's 56 is more than good enough for B standard, but I'd prefer a 60 for drop A. On a 8 string I like to use 74+56+9-46, drop E tuning.

There's only one Filigoi family in the world, and it's mine :) Some part of the family relocated in Brazil and Argentina many many years ago so there are some Filigois there too, but the main part is here, and we're not that many anyway haha. If you encounter another Filigoi, it's 100% my relative

Bugera ottimo suono-replica della 6505 e della Recto, ci vanno vicino e ad un ottimo prezzo. I componenti sono abbastanza orridi però e se ci devi andare in tour scordati Bugera.
Opeth mi piace qualche traccia (Windowpane, Master's Apprentices, etc) ma in generale ciò che ho sentito non mi ha mai entusiasmato troppo, anzi mi ha pure annoiato. Quasi mi vergogno ad essere una voce fuori dal coro perchè tutti li adorano :) Devo ancora sentirmi Blackwater Park però, chissà che cambi idea...

There's not much to explain: if you always listen to certain sounds, the stuff you play will sound like that and won't be different. Bands that offer something different stand out. You can still stand out with something that exists already but only if your music is really really high quality.
