Hey Fran! Just read in one of your responses that you are a lefty. Did you force yourself to learn to play righty or was it naturally what felt comfortable?

I had a cyst in my right wrist that blocked me from bending it so I had to learn the "right" way :) years later, I don't regret it at all! Only thing is that I'd probably have a faster and more powerful picking hand but I'm still plenty happy with my results.

How good are you at alternate picking? Can u play things like DT's This Dying Soul(ending solo) or In the Prescence of Enemies (unison)?

I reach 140-145bpm in sextuplets when I'm very very warmed up, no more than that. Alternate is not my strongest point but I think I have a good attack and technique nonetheless, I had to work a lot on it. I'm lefty so my right hand is naturally a bit weaker :)
Both songs are very cool, the BPM is in my possible range but I'd have to figure out the fingerings, so no idea.

I'm not an artwork or "Metal oriented" graphic designer, I primarily work on paper, business cards, letterheads, brochures, posters, magazines etc. so it requires a more "minimal" style.

So I have a great guitar, great wireless system,great stack and a pedalboard. What else do you think would really aid my live sound? I'm trying to get the perfect sound but no idea on tools I need :)

There are two cabs on craigslist. One has Sheffields from a Van Halen 5150 for $180. The other has Celestion G12K-85s and it's $200. Which do you think is the better purchase? Thanks.

How would you approach an only clean guitar composition -like "Luz y Cielo" by Mestis-? I'm usually very istinctive while writing, but now i have to fill the lack of other instruments. Would you start with a chord progression and then build melody and rhythm patterns or the opposite?

Generally speaking, I don't think about anything and let the finger wander around until I reach something that I like. Then I try to make it better by changing some spots that I feel are "not quite there", until I'm satisfied.

I'm a student and I'm currently writing material for my solo album, I really need stuff to record (Interface, Studio monitors, etc.) how can i make money so I can buy the stuff I need? Cause when i'll save for it, it would take forever. Any advices? Expert advice please

You don't need any "expert advice" to know that in order to get money, you need to work :)
If you can't because you're a student, then ask money instead of gifts during xmas/bday/etc, or sell stuff!
It doesn't take that much to buy a cheap, working interface and monitors, also if you buy used it's even less.

What's your take on the hate/troll toward Schecter? Personally neither am I a fan of their guitars but I don't see the point why so many people are hating them :/ Also do you ever find yourself "clicking" with any Schecter you've tried? Thx :)

Never heard of any "hate/troll" towards Schecter, some people just don't like their necks. The SLS models have slimmer necks btw.

Hey! The cold is giving my neck-through Jackson a hard time. Bendings on the first string get muted by the contact with upper frets. I've spent two hours polishing the frets, raising and lowering the bridge/saddles and adjusting the truss-rod. Nothing works and the action is still pretty high! :/

I am planning on getting the Scarlett 2i2 (my 1st audio interface). Just curious what would my signal chain need to be if I want to record signals from the JamUP Pro XT app? If it helps I have a MacBook Air. Also, what is the advantage of the 2i4 or 6i6 having more outputs? Total newbie here :)

From your IOS device's mini-jack output to the 2i2 jack input, with switch set on "line". You'll need either a mini-jack to jack cable (what I use) or a mini-jack to jack adaptor to be connected to your jack cable.

Stock Axe Fx cabinets are IRs too :) I use both external and stock, or blends of them.

What do u think of the majesty?

Looks like the Maxxas, google it. Not that innovative, but I still like it :) Although they should work more on the upper horn to make it slimmer and create a new headstock for it. Also it's a bit too chubby, I'd like the lower portion to be less large.

Hey Fran! I am a shit guitarist, and cannot seem to improve. What did you do to go from shit to legend? What were the major steps and most important ones?

Haha I'm not at legend level :) but I've actually discussed this plenty of times, scroll down in the answers and you'll find plenty of infos.
