do you believe in God ?

Although I don't believe in the Church or any religion, I do want to believe in a link that makes us all part of a bigger picture. I believe god is within our mind, capable of imagine and shape things bigger than the universe. Without our mind being self-aware of our existence/environment, there would be nothing.

I play like CRAP with high action, don't even like the sound, too nasal imho.

Really hard to tell...in no particular order I'd say Carcass - Heartwork, Testament - The Gathering, Slipknot - Slipknot, Suffocation - Pierced From Within, Jason Becker - Perpetual Burn. Although I'd like to add Dimmu Borgir - Puritanical, Immortal - SOND, Death - TSOP, Soilwork - Natural Born Chaos, In Flames - Jester Race, and many many others.

In terms of 6 strings, how would you rate the jpx, jpx-i & jp12 together & which if you had to choose just one for yourself, which would it be & why?

They're all awesome, I was just speaking about all of them with Aaron Marshall the other day actually. JP12 is bigger sounding, airier on leads. JPXI is tighter on rhythm but leads are too dark imho, JPX sounds better than the JPXI on leads but also not as tight. On 6 strings JP12 is my clear favourite, on 7 it's between JP12 and JPXI. I currently own a JP12-7 and couldn't be happier.

hey Francesco! Just wondering, what brand(s) do you endorse? You seem to give objective answers when it comes to gear, which is really awesome!. Most endorsee understandably would often be very subjective when it comes to gear questions.

Hey! I'm speccing a custom guitar and was wondering what you think of a chambered body? Im going for swamp ash body with burled maple top. Any positives and negatives with this feature?

Generally speaking, chambering sweetens the highs and adds some overall warmth and resonance to the guitar. I love it, but only in the right guitars. If you're a tight player with a very sharp attack, go for a chambered body, plus I think chambered swamp ash provides godly cleans.

Your opinion about Michael Angelo Batio and his style?

Dude is freakishly clean, met him recently. Not a fan of his tunes, too cheesy for my taste

I do! Jaga Jazzist above all, then all the classic Weather Report/Mahavishnu Orchestra stuff, etc. If we're talking guitarist: Alex Hutchings, Guthrie, Greg Howe, Frank Gambale, Martin Miller, Feodor Dosumov, Rick Graham to name a few.

what bands have you been in that have toured? and who have you toured with?

Until 2010 I played in Karnak, we've toured/played with Decapitated, Suffocation, Fleshgod Apocalypse, Destruction, Benighted, many others. I was just a touring member, never actually wrote or recorded anything with them.

It depends if you're searching for single coil or humbucker. I personally think BKP VH2 is the very best humbucker for neoclassic shred with a vintage vibe, Dimarzio Paf Pro too. If you're looking for a single coil, BKP Trilogy Suite is the obvious choice.

I think you wrote you are lefty in a post long ago, isn't it? So, was difficult to you learning to play a "right handed" guitar?

How does the Holy Diver / VH2 combo sound in your JEM? I have the identical one in Pink and really really wanna try that combo :)

let's just say it's the best sounding guitar for lead playing I've ever had. Btw, it's a modded RG550, not a Jem.
