do you like MAB?

He might be uber cheesy and everything, but believe me he ROCKS like no one's business live, so clean and powerful. I like him :)

petrucci or romeo?

both :) Petrucci has obviously been incredibly influential with his style, but Romeo is probably the most mind blowing guitarist I've ever seen live.

Mai avuto problemi come scheda audio

Is it bad if Luthiers use of big time luthiers guitar design?

You mean if luthiers use designs that are very derivative if not identical to others? It depends.
You could say that everyone is just doing RG copies nowadays, or that Les Pauls and Strats are so common that it doesn't matter what brand they come from.
But I am all for originality in design and if I were a luthier, it would be my main purpose to achieve something unique and recognizable, that has a different character ad vibe.
I do praise guitars like Vik, Blackmachine, Strandberg who after all these years in guitar history can come up with something innovative ad brautiful.
On the other hand, I'm not too much of a fan of who "takes too much inspirations" from their designs rather than creating something more personal.
This doesn't apply in luthiery only but life in general.

so, for that price, 1100 usd the RG550 and the Prestige for the 1800, fuck prestige ?

yes. the rg550 is very pricey for 1100usd though, it better be making coffee otherwise it's a theft

What do you think of Aaron Marshall and Intervals? A collaboration between you two would be amazing!

Aaron is a good good buddy and TIIIIGHT player. Collaboration? who knows :)

Vik vs Blackmachine? I know you like Blackmachine more. But what are the differences to you?

They are similar in the way both luthiers approach it: unreal attention to detail, premium woods, unique design, immense playability. I'd say Blackmachines are generally more aggressive/brutal sounding while Viks are more "touch sensitive".

"Everything is for sale if I receive the right offer" does that include the Blackmachine B2?

everything has a price and I'd be crazy to refuse an insane offer regardless of the guitar

Altrimenti affidatevi a qualcuno bravo e fidato!

What about a mahogany neck and body guitar with ebony fingerboard and maple top ?

sounds like an Eclipse, go with ceramic definitely

You are an amazing player ! I wanted to ask you which is the best wood combination in your opinion to support best an alnico version of a bkp in bridge(nailbomb, blackhawk) for dropped tuning !And also which wood comb should definitely avoid the alnico in the bridge and go with the ceramic version ?

well the discussion could be endless and I can only generalize: alnicos are generally warmer and go best in balanced to bright guitars, ceramic have tighter bass and a bit more "cold/precise" feeling, thry go well with darker sounding guitars. This is in no way accurate though since it depends on the model itself and the guitar and tuning itself.
Regarding Nailbomb and Blackhawk, if you have for example and alder or ash body, maple neck and ebony or maple fingerboard for sure the alnico version. If you have mahogany body and neck, rosewood fingerboard, then go with ceramic. If you have mahogany body, maple top and maple neck with whatever fingerboard, either can work.

What do you think of the music man jp7 (not the bfr,the one made of basswood) ? Would you install an aftermath set on it ?

it's a fantastic guitar, sure Aftermaths would rule in it but ceramic nailbomb would be even better imho

Hi Francesco :) I saved up some money, now I can't decide between a Line6 Ux2 with pod farm and the other stuff in it and an avid eleven rack, is there any suggestion you could make? :)

Go with the first option definitely

Help me man. I need my fix. When can you hook me up with the good stuff? Y'know.... The stuff kids are calling "Abiogenesis" nowadays. I can pay in love, hugs, kisses, my tears and actual money. I'll wait for your call <3 but seriously when can I expect more Abio?! :D

As written on our fb page yesterday, we're releasing our first track later this year :) I assure you it will be worth the wait. Most of the album recordings are finished too, expect it during 2014

Thanks for the kind words man, it seems futile but it's little things like this that fuel me and motivate me to go on :)

would running an axe-fx 2 through a interface like an Akai EIE be the better choice over running direct usb?

I did some tests with my RME UFX which is a high end interface: even if slightly, USB still sounded better and retained a little bit of low end more. Fact is, I don't trust the Axe's USB that much but it is the best sounding option I've tried. Still have to try AES/SPDIF though.

What's so special about the 90's ibbies? Is the mojo or something with the specs? Or the sound?

They were done just right: perfect necks, overall quality, playability, sound, sustain, finishes, etc.
