Have you ever played a guitar that felt way different from what you initially thought when you saw the photo?

well for sure I've played some guitars that were "ok cool" in photo but then at first strum were like OMGWTFBBQ!

How many hours do you usually teach per week?

Have two to three lessons per day more or less weekends included, this on top of work, recordings etc. I strive to have at least one completely free day though :)

What's your personal opinion on the RG927QM 7 string?

Solid sounding and playing guitar for sure. Stock pickups suck but everyone changes them anyway so. I personally don't like the aesthetics, the top is very fake-ish looking.

I'm trying to buy a good budget 8 string guitar & I narrowed my search down to an Ibanez RG8, or an Agile Septor 827 http://www.rondomusic.com/product4440.html What would you recommend? I plan on throwing the pegasus and sentient in anyway, but wouldn't mahogany get muddy in the low end?

I'd go with the white RG8, plenty of happy people who use it :)

What would you suggest for a 7 string below 1000 euros? if possible without active pups and without trem

There is an absurd amount of options in that range from ESP, Ibanez, Jackson...it really depends on taste and your personal aesthetic and tonal preference. Sorry I cannot point out a specific model but there's plenty of solid ones already from the above mentioned brands.

you're one of my favourite youtube players, i like you!

Thanks dude, I like you too :) although it has never been my priority to be a "youtube" player, just a guitarist that happens to be on the net as well!

What other music man guitars do you like? Or is it all about the JP

I like all of them really, but JP and Luke are my favs.

Have you actually listened to the whole album? Imaginary condition and souce field rule. Very atmospheric, which is what boo are about more so than flashy flashy gotcha generic shreddy leads that made the discovery boring.

Hey, that's just my opinion :) don't take it personally, music is subjective. I liked The Discovery a lot, I like The Illusionist but all the rest from the new album doesn't transmit me anything.
Their sound kinda calls for it, but I really don't like the production at all: so ear-fatiguing, everything always on top, it's hard for me to listen to an entire album like that.

Do you use the POD HD live? If so, what do you think is the best way to rig it?

I just use my Axe Fx, but I guess best would be using an active wedge with it!

Have you enjoyed the POD HD? if so, please explain the good and bad from your perspective ( which is quite unique) and do you have any patches you would like to share? thanks Francesco!

Pros: good tones, quite easy to dial in a convincent sound regardless of clean/lead/rhythm etc.
Cons: not as good as Axe/Kemper, doesn't support impulses (big bummer).

Do you have any experience with or opinions on the Kemper?

This has already been answered countless times by as many people as possible, and there are plenty of detailed Kemper reviews and comparisons between Axe and Kemper, google is your friend.
My personal opinion is that both can achieve excellent results, and both have pros and cons.
I prefer Axe since with it I can start from scratch rather than having to rely on an already profiled tone, this way I can achieve exactly the sound I have in my head :)

My axe fx II doesnt sound like I want, i'm into metalcore/djent music and play with a schecter hellraiser c7 (emg pickups) but it sounds bad. Can you record a riff without any mix/mastering just to compare? love you dude

I feel you, It's not an easy task to tweak and refine your Axe tones, with so many options available. I offer specific online lessons to learn how to achieve/tweak tones that suit your purposes, and actually if you want the easier task, from now on I also build custom presets at request. Still unofficial but I'm starting a website on this specific subject.
