Do you have time to browse around on YouTube for a few minutes and link a video where someone teaches the correct CAFO intro? I don't know right from wrong. Much appreciated

Why not catch a video in which tosin plays it and slow down the video yourself to exactly get the fingering and picking movement? It's a great exercise, everyone should do it.

hello ,may i ask wich amp du you recommend for 8 strings,im thinking about a blackstar ht5,just want something for studio and recording, and will the D-activators be a good tone for "djent" on a Ibanez S8?mahogany body, you know... and can afford to mutch so i got to keep it low cost :)

Buy a pod hd, it will be easier for studio recording. Yes d activator can work fine although duncan distortion might be better. Keep in mind you have weird pickup routes on the S8 and you will have holes once you put new pickups.

what do you think about tesseract?

Very cool band, like the vibes a lot. Never been too much into them though

This might be a big request, but can you do an 8 string cover/lesson video of CAFO's intro? The correct way with the 8 string. I'm sure others will appreciate it too, cheers mate!

I unfortunately don't have the time, but I'm sure someone has already covered it in a lesson or something like that, probably even tosin himself.

Are you experienced enough to play the intro to CAFO, either by sweeping or tapping? I feel like I'm years away from being able to play it..

Tapping is not the correct way of doing it. Yes I can do it sweeping :) Start slow and you'll get there, it only takes time and practice, and patience...lots of patience.

What's your impression of Daemoness? Worth the money? How do they compare to other custom builders?

I liked the Daemoness guitars I owned/played a lot, expecially some features are incredible. Although my favourite builders remain Blackmachine, Vik and KxK

How is that a troll question....

My honest answer is: I love Meshuggah, I don't like djent copycats.

what kind of stuff do you reccomend practicing/learning besides other people's songs?

As a general rule, it's best to practice with actual exercises, not songs :) check if your favourite guitarists have instructional videos/DVDs/books etc.

do you think learning lots of theory is needed to be a good player like you? sorry if this was already asked.

Theory won't make you faster or your finger tone better :) it's not needed at all. Practice the instrument and your ears first!

Did you have a chance to try the new Jacksons coming in for late 2013 ? Especially the DKA7 ? If so, what's your opinion on them? They look fucking amazing !

They're really good overall, I like the oiled necks, fretwork, general quality. I don't like the cheesy killswitch and the squared heel, even if thin, is still "clumsier" than the usual rounded ones.

I want to get a JP7 with ebony board but I dislike the current finishes they offer. Should I pay several hundred for a full body refinish or wait a year to see if new finishes become available?

You have to take into consideration that refinish the headstock, expecially with logo and signature, is no easy task at all. I'd refinish it if I were you, but keep in mind these aspects :)

Is your Koa JP7 the only production JP7 with gold hardware?

There are other very rare ones made for certain artists, but I think the only production JP with gold stuff is the koa, yes.

What do you do on hot days when it's like 35 degrees?

I work, degrees don't change shit haha :) that's what the AC is for.

you said you were a dj, what is the scene like then compared to now?

"club culture" is kinda dying, at least in Italy. Electronic clubs were way more crowded time ago, now there's no good music selection, less people. People prefer to go to concerts nowadays, which is a good thing though :)

What do you think about Ran Guitars? Are they good guitars for that price?

I think the Ran Crusher (expecially the FT model) is among the best bang for the money you can find in Europe. These guitars are quality, and top notch customer service! Polish people work their asses off.

I thought it would be good to get non-guitar questions for a change, that's why I asked about convertible haha :)

yes, that is very refreshing to get non guitar questions sometimes haha, thanks for that :)
