I'm kinda stuck when it comes to composition. Not that i lack technique or theory knowledge, i just feel that i'm subject to way too many inputs from the music i listen to. I end up with a messy mix of many genres. How did you find your way and style?Should i give up if it doesn't show up naturally?
It might sound weird but stop listening to the music you're used to! Just listen to non-guitar oriented stuff that might inspire you in some other ways, or just search inspiration from something that you're not familiar with, yet :)

Molto buono per suoni lead e puliti, non altrettanto per distorti high gain. Ne provo uno tra un po' di giorni che lo porta un mio studente da me e ne sapró di più!
So I've connected my axe Fx to my Mac via USB and I'm playing it in GarageBand but the problem is that I'm getting a delay in signal i.e. when I strike my string a second later I hear the actual sound. How can I fix this?

To add BKP's to a JP7, what modifications have to be made? I heard you had to rerout the guitar or something
No modifications required, they fit just fine! Although if you want covered ones, a little bit of routing might be necessary.

I prefer active wedge for many reasons, impulses and versatility the major ones.
Hi Francesco! I really like the fast riffing styles you have (and also bands like Cynic, The HAARP Machine, Fallujah, hopefully you get the idea :P ). Do you find yourself riffing a lot in this style? Are there any other bands you'd recommend that are more on a prog metal side than tech death? Thx
Thanks :) While the genre and musical message is not the same (Abio is more "broad") I think some of the riffs are kinda similar to Haarp stuff in the way they develop. That being said, I don't know which prog metal are you referring to because Prog for me is Dream Theater, Pain Of Salvation, Ark, Circus Maximus, Pagan's Mind, Vanden Plas, Symphony X, DGM, Empyrios...
If you're referring to "modern" prog metal then you probably already know BTBAM, Animals, Periphery, Scale The Summit, Ever Fortright, Intervals, Exivious etc :)

I've noticed a couple of the newer b6s had the cs/pk combo. Are they pretty effective in those guitars?
Of course they are, otherwise they wouldn't be there!

Conquer the world, by touring it of course :) On a serious note: be recognized positively for what I do is enough in my book, but I want to deliver the message to as many people as possible.
Nell'improvvisazione, ma anche nelle composizioni e negli assoli in genere, tendi a seguire modi e scale o riproduci sullo strumento una linea che hai in testa? Penso che ogni musicista cerchi un connubio fra le due cose, ma c'è sempre qualcuno che segue più l'istinto e chi l'aspetto tecnico.
Uno può conoscere tutta la teoria di sto mondo ma se non ha il feeling e le idee giuste al punto giusto non serve a un cazzo...cerco sempre di pensare a una "storyboard" durante un assolo, cosa mettere in che determinato punto e lavorarci su, o magari semplicemente mettere la base ritmica in loop e suonare finchè non trovo qualcosa che stia bene...ripeto sempre che non è quali scale usi ma COME le usi che fa la differenza :)
