If you could have a second home in any city in the world, where would it be?

Stockholm. I actually never visited Sweden/Finland/Norway, but life is less corrupted and more civilized there, it would be a nice place to call home.

have you ever driven a convertible?

no I don't think I have, on the other hand wtf is in your head to ask stuff like this? :)

Where did you buy your music man guitars? Aside from Bass Central idk many other stores

basscentral is the best, there's also dubaldomusic, themusiczoo and theperfectguitar. All US dealers are not allowed to ship new Music Man guitars outside the US though.

How do you and other popular YouTube channels upload dozens of guitar covers without getting copyright notifications? I read that the real music licensing process is lengthy and expensive, especially if youre releasing those covers for download. Thanks a lot for answering.

I do get copyright notifications, sometimes. I've answered this in detail time ago, if you search on my profile you'll find it.

Do you like 80s rock bands like Journey, Bon Jovi etc?

Never listened to Journey but I do love me some Bon Jovi, expecially the first album. Riffs!

Is there a Europe equivalent to Guitar Center??

No I don't think there is. US in general has this "chain" thing for everything that in Europe and expecially in Italy doesn't exist, here everything is more "independent", privately owned.

hi, what is your future plan for youtube channel? more covers, collabs, or original material?

More Abio stuff, but also lots of still unreleased drum covers from our drummer, and maybe some guest solos/licks/lessons too :)

When soloing, do you take inspiration from tech/prog death metal to a certain degree? I found your solo sometimes really "outside-sounding", but not in a fusion way. And anyway I love it :)

When soloing? No I don't think, it's more a thing I do to apply contrast with melody. You know, everything has to have fast but also quiet moments, melodic but also "weird" tonalities, strong but also mellower stuff, etc.
Generally speaking, in music you have to apply contrasts otherwise there would be no dynamics and it will result in something boring to hear. This applies to soloing too :)

How come rosewood fingerboard = meh but rosewood neck = jizz?

Because "guitar nerds" like to blab without actual knowledge or experience. Rosewood fretboards rule! I love the feel and tone.
Each of the main woods used for fingerboards has its good and bad properties.
Also it depends if indian, brazilian, bolivian, madagascar, honduran, or the cheap one you find on some production instruments, and of course on which other woods are coupled with it.

Do you welcome Facebook conversations or are you usually busy ?

I welcome them if it's not timewasting people that talk by themselves and flood me with monosyllables instead of a compact and clear message. That's why I like ask.fm!

Who does your pickup changes? Yourself, guitar shop or friend?

A local tech which I trust a lot, but I do want to do everything myself (I already do all the setups).

What will you do with the gold bob JP7 pickups?

keep them, in case I sell it in the future. It would devalue a bit without them imho

What do you think of Jeff Waters' Annihilator ?

love them, and Jeff is one of the best rhythm players ever

do you usually order BKP's from their official store or do you use some dealer? Thanks mate!

Either directly from the official store or thru The Axe Palace.

Come mai avevi cambiato i pickup stock della tua JP12-7?

il crunch lab non mi è mai piaciuto, il liquifire buono ma c'è di meglio

If you were going to get a 6 string Carvin for your style of music and preferences, which model would you go with?

DC600, TL60 and CT624 are all very suitable models :)
