Ciao fra, mi consiglieresti qualche progrmma per mac per fare basi di batteria?

EZ Drummer è il programma per te :)

So I'm going to have a carvin 727 made. I have a black limba body, but can't decide between spalted maple or flamed koa top...what do you think would aesthetically go with black limba? Or would white limba be better aesthetically in general :p

Carvin's black limba stocks I've seen are amazing. White and black limba are exactly the same thing tonally, they just differ visually. I'd suggest spalted maple since Carvin's spalted tops are consistently ALIEN!
On a side note, keep in mind in a neck-thru guitar the neck will dictate the tone much more than the body/wings.

Hey Francesco! Emeralds sound huge, what pick ups would you recommend to combine them with? Let's say in a guitar with a ash body and mahogany neck... Incredible beautiful piece of art in the demo video! cheers

ash body and mahogany neck is a very rare combination....actually incredibly rare, for some reasons I don't feel like suggesting it :) the Emerald bridge and neck pickup are rather bright, crunchy and with low output, they would be suited best in a mahogany body guitar.

Hey man, when you practice technique or licks as you stay focused? .. what do you do when you start to fail.

When I actually have time to properly practice and learn new licks, I prefer to stay very focused for a short amount of time rather than doing it until I'm fucking stressed out haha. Just take breaks, breaks are important!

ciao ho un iphone 5 tu mi consiglieresti di acquistare jamup pro xt? ho avuto anche amplitube... quale pensi sia meglio? Grazie mille ciao! :)

Aspetta bias per iphone, è il migliore :)

Opinions and comparisons on the Bare Knuckle Emerald neck? thanks

Hear for yourself in the little vid I'm upping in a few hrs :) it's truly great!

do you think you coul make a video sometime in the future that goes over jamup and bias sort o like a review and like do a basic tutorial on how to get a decent tone?

absolutely!

what do you focus on when making a recording tone?

I focus on making it balanced, not overly boomy or harsh, just the right amount of gain to fill chords and chugs but still retaining clarity on single note stuff. And of course it has to cut through!

What do you think of juggernauts? I believe that misha is not realistic recommending them so easily; He has no credibility

of course he recommends them, they're his signature model that he spent quite a long time perfecting to his taste and specifications. what else do you expect? :) I still have to play and compare them properly to judge them completely, but one thing for sure they're GREAT pickups, as everything from BKP.

How would you compare the sound/weight/feel of the Walnut neck on your CT7 versus the more common Maple w/ Walnut stripes configuration?

it weighs a bit more, it doesn't change that much tone-wise, it's got a bit more growl and less "hardness" to it. in the middle of mahogany and maple I'd say

a bit of a tech question. What should I do if i can't move the saddle any more backwards while intonating my 7 string?

Tough one! There's really not much you can do. If you have a hipshot bridge there are shorter saddles available to make it go even more backwards.

fran do you think that a ceramic warpig will give me that attack the aftermath gives but with more output???

They are two very different beasts. There's a comparison vid between warpig/aftermath/invader/distortion by keith merrow, watch it!

Dear Franzyzzco, what do you think about people who tend to only consider BKP Aftermath, Blackhawk, and Jugs? I feel like their other pickups are underrated with this whole djent bullshit hype! You don't usually give extreme bias opinion. Congrats on your endorsement with Carvin and BKP!

Simple: I don't think! Don't spend time or effort caring about stuff you don't like :) Thanks btw!

what bkp's will go in the new carvin?

I already have a ceramic Warpig bridge and Emerald neck in it :) will post a video tomorrow showing the Emerald neck cleans. I will still swap them with Juggernauts & Aftermaths for some proper comparison clips.

have you ever tried the mule in the neck position ? What did you think of it , can you even play some modern shredding licks with it ?

It's an incredible pickup but for modern soloing I feel it needs a lot of amp gain to compensate for its low output. Still superb though

Would you recommend using a rackmount effects unit such as a TC Electronic G Major 2 or individual pedals for delay, compression, gate, etc for use with a Laney IRT Studio amp with a Zilla Fatboy?

I'm not a pedal fan but I've had a TC Nova System for a while and it was top notch. Having multiple little pedals is cool but up to you in the end!

Do You find playing on clean channel more demanding than playing on high gain in terms of articulation? Could You play such stuff on a clean channel as easily as on high gain? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cd_TYFVEUK8

If anything, playing with tons of gain and distortion is more demanding because you really have to be careful about muting unwanted string noise and resonances. With a clean tone it's not nearly as annoying.
Also I guess it depends on the clean or distorted tone you're using, and the stuff I play in the video would sound totally out of place with a clean tone :)

Top 5 Most versatile and best specs Ibanez ?

Versatility is in the hands, not the instrument :) both S and RG series can do any genre. Wait for NAMM for new models if you're interested in specs!
