I haven't been watching, mostly because of the time zone differences, partly because I'm not interested in the majority of the events.

It's been a pretty unusual winter so far. Way colder and way more snow than usual. We're supposed to have more in the middle of this week too.

Well, I did find out about the 2-part bonus stage because of a friend who didn't have Nintendo Power at the time, he was just curious and for some odd reason, decided "Hey, let's see if I can get every single item in those types of bonus levels" But you're right, it is kind of a dick move.

It's okay, I've tried to play through it a couple times but I always end up losing focus because there's just so much stuff to collect without enough variety in-between.

What was always your favorite genre of music. Or as a kid.
Everyone listened to crappy music as a kid. You're not old until you can look back ten years and think your taste in music wasn't completely awful (hint: I'm not there yet). Most of what I listen to right now is classic rock or some style of progressive rock/metal.
Out of the whole entire Metal Gear Rising soundtrack, which is your favorite? Mine would probably be "The Hot Wind Blowing"
Top three I'd say is The Only Thing I Know for Real, A Stranger I Remain, and The Hot Wind Blowing.

None of them really stand out to me, I guess the chicken robot dude. It was okay, definitely not my favorite though.
What is/was your favorite bonus game from DKC? I personally like the 2-part one in the first Kremkroc Industries level.
None of them are super great, but I guess the ones where all the letters are going in a circle and you have to hit the flashing one to spell out a word are probably the best of the bunch. The first of the "two-in-one" bonus games is a dick move; there's no way you'd know without outside help that you need to get three single bananas which spawns a barrel that you have to jump (not walk) into the wall on the right with.
Did you see the 50th Anniversary of the Beatles on the Ed Sullivan Show on CBS? If you didn't you missed a great show.
Nah. I dunno, if I want to listen to Beatles songs I'll just listen to the Beatles.

I don't watch anywhere near that many. The only things I halfway keep up with are Criminal Minds and The Following. Used to watch Burn Notice but it's no longer being made.

Metal Gear's Outer Heaven is the central theme of Peace Walker (though Peace Walker is earlier chronologically so it's mostly explained there). I think Metal Gear 2's Zanzibarland is only mentioned in passing once or twice, and they even cover it a bit through conversations in MGS1. They're really not important to know much about.

Yeah, Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake were the original MSX games.
same metal gear person from before. I started to play metal gear solid (ps1) yesterday, and under the special tab, is said previous missions. and you can choose either metal gear, or metal gear 2, snake eater. Are those the synopsis of the MSX ones from japan, included with the legacy collection?
I don't own the legacy collection but they're probably written summaries of what happened in each of those games. The easiest way to figure it out is probably to just select it and see what happens? Also Snake Eater is MGS3 so, you know, don't read it if you don't want it spoiled for you.

Which LP projects would you remaster in terms of higher video and audio quality if you had the ability to?
Yoshi's Island had some audio issues, and Grandia II had some video issues both from PS3 emulation and poor post-production processing. I wouldn't want to remaster them though because they were both just pretty bad LP's. Twilight Princess also had some minor issues that I solved by replacing the S-video cable I was using but since then everything has looked fine.

Sure. I don't like dipping the cookies into the milk but there's nothing better to wash them down with.
