Would you consider the Calculus AB AP test to be difficult? I'm currently acing the class but still a bit worried. Also being the only sophomore limits my ability to ask for help.

There was no Calculus AB test when I took it, it was just Calculus. We didn't cover everything that was on the test because our school didn't have an actual Calculus BC course, so I'm not really in a position to make a fair judgment on it. I also don't remember it at all.

Thoughts on the Super Bowl? The commercials, the game, etc.

Kinda sloppy. I guess it was good if you like to watch two offenses spinning their wheels for a few hours. There was literally only one good touchdown drive the whole game (the other from Denver only needed like four yards) and Denver was the first team to win the Super Bowl with less than 200 yards of offense. It wasn't even necessarily a great defensive game either. Denver's defense was as suffocating as usual but Carolina's offense was just awful. Everybody aside from Cam Newton just didn't show up, mistakes on both sides of the ball and on special teams too. Not the most entertaining game to watch but you feel good for Peyton at least. First QB ever to hit 200 wins doing it on the Super Bowl which is maybe the last game of his career.

What editing software do you use for your videos? I'm debating between Sony Vegas and Adobe Premiere. I'm looking into to starting LP's. I know I"m late to the party (by like 5 years lol) but it seems like a fun hobby to share video game experiences with people!

I use Sony Vegas Pro 13. If you actually want to get into a video editing career in the future it's not a bad idea to learn Premiere, but keep in mind both programs are basically overkill for run-of-the-mill LPs so either will get the job done and then some.

I saw on you YouTube you use a Blue Yeti microphone. If that is still the case, how do you get rid of all the background noise? Mine seems to pick up every noise even on the Cardioid setting. Thanks man, love your videos :D

I've never really had a problem with it, personally. Make sure the gain knob on the back is set as low as possible while still picking you up clearly, sit closer to the mic (but not so close you're eating it, six inches or so at the *absolute max* with a pop filter), otherwise either take measures to limit environment noise or look into noise removal in audio programs like Audacity.

Did you ever get into Chip and Dale: Rescue Rangers?

Not really. Watched one or two as a kid but I feel like most of those cartoons were on during school hours? I never knew how people watched them so much.

What do you think of the new ask.fm layout?

Most of it I'm indifferent about. The site was never particularly pretty or anything, always just a basic layout. The only things they added are inconvenient (the featured question thing showing up in your feed is the most egregious) and didn't address anything the site actually needs, like a better way to browse old questions. A calendar archive and/or a way to search questions by keywords on someone's profile would be an improvement that's actually useful, but apparently they'd rather just move things around for the fun of it.

Any chances of a live stream in the near future?

Don't have plans for any. I don't actually like live streaming that much.

Will yoy do a let's play for twilight princess hd?

No, I've already done Twilight Princess. No use retreading the same ground.

What's the most disappointed you've ever been with a video game?

It doesn't happen super often because you have to go in with high expectations to be disappointed. I try to temper them and keep them realistic most of the time. I don't really know that I have an answer for "ever" but honestly MGS5 was probably the biggest disappointment for me in recent memory - at least in the last few years. Having loved Metal Gear in the past and seeing reviewers I follow being universally over the moon about it I was actually pretty excited. Came out lukewarm on it for reasons I've listed before.

Favorite episode of Power Rangers?

I haven't watched Power Rangers in at least twenty years, so if you think I remember it in that much detail you're giving my memory way too much credit.
I think there was an episode with a giant pig mutant who only caused a problem because he kept eating everyone's food?

What is your beef with Superman?

Eh, I don't really have a "beef" as much as it just seems boring to me. He has like the most generic superhero powers and I'm not really that into superheroes as it is.

Ever solved a Rubik's Cube?

Yes, there's literally just a process to follow that will solve it every time without any thought at all. If you can follow directions you can solve a Rubik's Cube.

So did you replace your broken equipment with the same model/brand equipment?

After returning the new one I tried out, yeah, I just got another Elgato.

Have you been playing Amplitude a lot recently? Will you be making any more videos showimg it? Is it livestream material?

Not really. I played through the entire campaign in one sitting and then have only picked it up one other time (aside from testing my setup a few days ago). The main thing turning me off from it is that I have to arbitrarily play through like 36 more songs to actually unlock all of the songs. That's the equivalent to beating the campaign like two or three more times.
I may do those one-off videos from time to time if I feel like it but no full LP or live playthrough of it.

Do you think we will notice any differences in your videos with the new software/equipment?

No, there won't be any difference.

If I wanted to play an N64 Zelda would you suggest OOT or MM?

Probably start with Ocarina of Time, it has a more traditional structure and is a little easier to follow with more of a focus on the main objective than a bunch of smaller side stories (though it does still have them, of course). Majora's Mask was kind of weird even outside of the Zelda series.

Would you like to see a superman game done in the arkham style?

Nah, I've never really liked Superman. I had hoped Rocksteady would just get away from superheroes in general. They have the foundation of a good game mechanically, imagine if they utilized their writers and made a good original story.

I know a lot of ppl don't care for the last 2 batman games but how do you feel bout them? Would you consider a let's play?

The last one I've played was Origins, never even picked up the latest one. Origins was an okay game (though easily buggier and more janky than the prior two) but I'm just tired of that formula. No LP, won't happen for City either.

Are you excited for the Mother 4 Fan Game?

Cautiously optimistic, I guess. It'll depend very heavily on their ability to actually innovate and create rather than mimic previous entries. If there's nothing new and they're essentially just masturbating over Earthbound then I'm not interested.

If I wanted to play the mother series should I start with earthbound beginnings, earthbound, or get the mother 3 fan translation?

Probably start with Earthbound, then Mother 3, then try Mother/Earthbound Zero/whatever they're calling it now if you REALLY want to (it's not great). Make sure whatever version of the original you play has the patch that doubles XP and halves random encounters, I don't know if the VC version does or not.
If you end up not feeling Earthbound, feel free to skip straight to Mother 3.

What kind of Miiverse integration does Xenoblade X have, if any? How are you enjoying it?

I don't really know exactly, I disabled it all first thing upon starting up the game. They were called "free reports" I think so Googling that might help, it's probably just posting a screenshot to Miiverse.
As far as how I'm enjoying it, basically this: https://ask.fm/batman9502/answers/133992169046
It asks for too much of my time without giving me any motivation to do so. I've put 100 hours into it and I'm exhausted, whereas by comparison I put 200 hours into Witcher 3 for example and was totally ready for more. There's a LOT of searching Google for collectible/monster locations, the difficulty curve is less of a curve and more of a series of jagged cliffs in all directions, every mechanic is extremely obtuse and again requires you to look up how to make some of the systems even useful at all. The story and characters are solid which is the only reason I've stuck with it this long. I have one more affinity mission to do which requires me to gain some levels (which I've had to do a lot of, btw) and then I'll happily put the game down and never pick it back up.

Looking back, how was your 2015?

Strikingly similar to 2014, and also 2013. It was fine, things are pretty stable so not much to report.
