As somebody who enjoys nintendo games, what would make you buy a wii u?

"Enjoys Nintendo games" is a bit broad, I love the older stuff but there aren't a lot of Nintendo games these days I'm that into. This is why I have no desire to get one right now; I can't think of a single Wii U exclusive that I really want to play.

With the NFL playoff picture is set (except for the winner of Philly and Dallas) can I get your picks for each game of the first round?

Haven't been following it enough to tell. Just pick the highest records for each matchup.

Do you think "Make a gift" on ask.fm will ever work for us in the U.S.

I hope not. The less people wasting money on that crap the better.

Have you ever played super hexagon? If not it's on steam for the remainder of the sale for .59 and it is very fun and addicting. Might just be me being crazy, but to show you how addicting this game is, each attempt can be 5-90 seconds depending on your skill level, and I have 3 hours on it.

I've heard of it but never played it.

Early Happy New Year to ya! Also I just got a PS3 from my brother (yes I'm super late to the party lol) and I was wondering what games you'd recommend aside from MG Rising. So far I have Assassin's Creed 2.

You too. The best place to start is probably a Google search for best PS3 games. There are so many out there, the majority of which I haven't played.

Which Christmas movie did you enjoy the most? (Cartoons don't count)

I don't watch a whole lot of them, but I guess A Christmas Story.

How do feel about your Twilight Princess LP?

It's fine. It's pretty old so it's still rough around the edges but it's probably the oldest one that I'm actually happy with.

What is first thing you think of when you hear a kid yelling in public?

I guess it would depend on the yell? That's just something kids do, maybe their mom didn't buy them the lollipop they wanted or something.

Have you noticed the very similar story curves between metal gear rising and deus ex h.r.

I haven't played Deux Ex: Human Revolution in a few years but the only similarities I can think of are human augmentations and some of the ethics questions about them. Metal Gear Rising is way more ridiculous.

Do you Austin Powers movie?

I have Austin Powers movied before, but I have not Austin Powers movied in quite a while now.

What does the next person say? Cyborg: Why won't you die?! Enforcer:...

Probably the same thing the fox says. Maybe you should ask him.

Were you more mischievious or obedient in your childhood?

I dunno, I was just a kid like anyone else. I wasn't an annoying little brat because I was raised better than that, but everyone had recess taken away at least once you know?

Book burning is dumb, but is there any book so gut-wrenchingly awful you'd willingly put the torch to so that others can't read it?

Over the course of that question you seem to have forgotten the first part of what you said.

Who is your favorite Marvel character and second-best DC character?

I don't know, don't really have one. Believe it or not I'm not really into superheroes.

Have you ever played games that were more disappointing than satisfying? If so, which ones?

Most recent one in memory is AC3.

Get anything from the Steam sale? Plan on showing anythbing if you did?

I've picked up Skyrim and Gone Home, but that's it. Not planning on doing any videos or anything with them if that's what you're asking.

you like Rogue legacy? I know i've recommended this before, and you are entitled to your opinion, but dark souls is very similar to dark souls. hard and unforgiving, losing progress as you die, learning each time without realizing. if you like RL, you're love DS.

Rogue Legacy isn't that hard or unforgiving. You're going to die before you power up, sure, but every run is different and every run gets you something. It's not about repeating the exact same thing over and over memorizing spawns and paths. On top of that you have all of the classes and randomized sets of traits to keep things interesting, runes and armor that give noticeable secondary effects, and the controls are SUPER tight and easy to pick up.
I appreciate that you like the game but trust me, I've looked into it plenty already.

based on a set of simple proportions, i have calculated that with an average of 29.6 minutes per episode, its going to take about 43 more episodes for the main story, and about 13 months to complete those 43 episodes.

Well hey, a little over a year doesn't sound so bad.

Yeah, got it just before I asked. Any other games on sale currently like bastion.

I don't know of any others like Bastion, but there are plenty of good games on sale for cheap if you're just asking for general recommendations. Deus Ex Human Revolution is a no-brainer for $5, Papers Please is worth it for $6.69, Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons for $7.49, Witcher 2 for $10, Rogue Legacy for $7.49, and tons of others not on the front page. Off the top of my head Cook, Serve, Delicious is $5 and is totally worth it, SpeedRunners early access is $5 too. Basically if you have a game you've wanted just look it up and it'll probably have some discount on it.

Ever played bastion?

Great game. You can also get it for just a little over $2 on Steam in the current flash sale.

Are you ever going to LP another Zelda game?

I'd say the only one that's remotely possible is Zelda 2, but it's unlikely unless something new comes up in the future.
