With the recent news about Nintendo claiming Let's Play Videos with their game content within it; are you concerned about the videos you've done of Nintendo Games?

No. Even if I get a Content ID claim who cares?

im doing a new segment on my channel called channel and gaming updates where i do new events and reveals about my channel, and gaming news. its my first video. can you tell you your advice and criticism. it would really help

First, there's no link. Second, only if it's not more than a couple minutes, I barely get around to watching the people I want to watch as it is. Third, there's not a lot of critiquing to be done on reveal/update videos. Also doing gaming news on top of that seems redundant; not everyone who wants gaming news wants to sift through your channel updates, and those who do would certainly be fine with two separate videos.

do you know of any good free video editing programs that are safe. all i really need it for is to cut stuff out though.

VirtualDub, Avidemux. Windows Movie Maker is adequate if you absolutely have to settle for it.

What's your stance on text reading in games? It seems you switch back and forth considering you didn't read the text when you first started this hobby, then read it for a time and stopped again.

I didn't do it at first because I wasn't comfortable with commentary at all. I started doing it once I got more confidence and kept doing it for a while mostly because I never heard much to the contrary. Some people prefer it, some people would rather you not, so with anything it's a mixed bag. I was fine with that until Skyward Sword came around, and I recorded a 30-minute video that had 20 minutes of dialogue. I started getting annoyed with being chained to the text, and the slightly slower pace it brings, so I stopped, and found out I honestly much preferred it that way.

Do you often feel that your always underleveled in an rpg

It's usually about 50% of the time I'm right on track, 50% of the time I'm underleveled. The first time I go through an RPG I always fight every enemy in the area; the good games are usually set up so that I'm about on par with what's expected because of that.

sorry if you've been asked this before, battsy, but why exactly did you leave gameanyone? i've actually never really heard of it before i discovered your videos

I'll just summarize it as a lack of respect by the head admin. Some of us had been staff for years (one or two since the site's inception) and still were thought of as just disposable worker bees. There's no need to dwell on it, I quite like my situation now.

How much do you love batman?

It's alright. Honestly I've seen a handful of the movies and that's about it.

About the movie secret, just a summary, secret is an amazing story based around the events of the love interest between 2 amazing piano players, bonded with piano. In a few words; love, music, time travel, death, and jelousy. Highly recommend it if you ever have the time.

Eh, that doesn't really help. I laughed at the random time travel though.

How do you feel about the announcement of this beings burn notices final season?

I didn't know about it before this, but I'm not too terribly surprised. With the way they've been raising the stakes each season I figured they wouldn't be able to keep up that pace and it wouldn't be too much longer before they had to just go all out and wrap everything up.

What was the hardest game you had to sit through so far for a lets play, either because it was difficult or you did not have fun with it because it was a bad game?

None of them have been that difficult and I don't LP bad games. NES Batman is probably the most widely known "hard" game I've LP'ed, but it didn't require more than one take or anything.

What rpg game have you ever had to spend the most time grinding in?

I dunno about overall, but in recent memory Legend of Legaia.

How much do you get paid at your job per hour?

I'm salaried, not hourly, but either way I'd rather not share what I make.

Ok, either I really suck at Donkey Kong Country, or I'm overestimating myself. Could you give me tipsters on how to beat the Snow Barrel Canyon in Gorilla Glacier? Because I started the world with 40 balloons, and lost them all.

Don't really know what to tell you other than what I said in the video. Practice it a lot, and try to actually learn from your mistakes instead of just dying over and over doing the same thing. If something's not working, try a different approach. They get much harder than that level so you might have your work cut out for you.

In your opinion, what is the most annoying enemy in any of the games you have LPed?

HighRollinMace’s Profile PhotoMason Atwater
Probably some variation of the Yux (basically whatever the elite version is) in TTYD.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zv7z15Qev0M what do you think of this theme from the movie secret. (the same movie with the piano battle that i posted earlier. and if you have netflix i highly recommend watching it. its on youtube too if you are interested)

It's alright. Honestly I'm not big into just piano music at all. I'll look into it if the rest of the story is something really good, but if playing the piano is the main theme it'll probably be a while, if ever, before I get around to it.

coffee or hot chocolate

Hot chocolate, don't drink it regularly but I don't really like coffee so it's an easy choice.

Do you have any idea what Raiden says when he does the Zandatsu?

He can say a couple different things, either "bullseye" or what I think is "dead on." When chaining multiple Zandatsus at once I've heard he also says the japanese equivalent to "right there."

Haha, part 27 of Skyward Sword is named "Ships Ahoy!" while part 28 is "Ship's Destroyed". Idk if that was intentional, but it's rather clever.

HighRollinMace’s Profile PhotoMason Atwater
Yep, definitely intentional.

Haha, I'll never forget you laughing at the Joker talking about Batman's fears in Batman: Arkham Asylum. "Me, in a thong? HAAAAAhahahahahaha" lol

HighRollinMace’s Profile PhotoMason Atwater
Haha yeah, maybe the best line in that game.
