No, not really.
not directed to you, but if the person asking about the handheld reads this, the 3ds has a larger variety of RPGs. bravely default is a big one, and there are a few new tales games coming out. And other good games that aren't RPGs include zelda link between worlds, and kid icarus uprising.

They're pretty much the same, though the "disguised" Mr. Saturn from Mother 3 is the best individual Mr. Saturn.
What would you suggest or say to someone who wanted to start streaming on twitch for the first time?
I dunno, have fun? Test your stream beforehand and make sure everything's working with what you plan to play before you start, otherwise just enjoy yourself.
Atheism: Faith based or not? Your opinion dude.
Depends on who you ask. If you're talking to an atheist who claims to know for a fact there are no supernatural deities then sure, it is at least partially faith-based. It doesn't, however, require faith to not accept someone's claim that specific deities exist. The burden is on them to provide supporting evidence of this existence, and if they can't provide that evidence then accepting the claim regardless is the faith-based position, not rejecting it.

If you're referring to the gas line explosion in Knifley, I didn't hear it since it's actually pretty well outside of Columbia (plus it was 2 AM and I was asleep).

I rarely go to either, but I'll go the Walmart here first, then when they don't have whatever I'm looking for I drive to the nearest GameStop which is 30 minutes away.

So I've been thinking of getting a handheld, but only have enough money for one and a few games. I really enjoy RPGs, and adventure games to a lesser extent. Does the Nintendo 3DS or PS Vita have a better selection?

What makes Kumatora, Duster, and Boney better than Paula, Jeff, and Poo?
Mostly they're just written better and have more attention paid to them. In EarthBound you remember the secondary protagonists mostly by their combat roles instead of their actual backstory, mostly because their story is mentioned once when you meet them then never brought up again. The characters in Mother 3 receive far more development. Duster has his own chapter detailing his relationship with Wess and his adventures in Osohe Castle, then his discovery of the Egg and loss of his memory. Kumatora has a major role in both Duster's and Salsa's chapters. Even Boney has his own segments, such as dragging Duster through the forest at the beginning of the game and the whole disguising him as a human thing, he's also the one who draws you into the sewers in New Pork City. The EarthBound characters do have their introductions, but once they join you their worth is basically just their abilities in combat and additional inventory space.

Always get the disc if possible.
