I saw where one of your favorite PSOne games is Legend of Dragoon. Potential let's play material? Aside from the current YouTube/Google mess of course. I would love to watch you play it, it's one of my personal favorite games of all time...even if I never beat the last boss lol

What are some of your favourite PS1 games?

Metal Gear Solid, Legend of Dragoon, Legend of Legaia, Mega Man Legends, Parappa the Rapper.

Do you think a 13 year old would handle what's in the last of us? He's mature, but he rarely plays games of that level of violence. And do you think he can handle the constant vulgar language.

Personally I don't know if I'd recommend it. The violence in the gameplay itself I don't think is that big of a deal but the "game over" scenes can be pretty brutal. There are other things like running into piles of dead bodies being burned or just sitting in a garage, a pretty intense suicide, a group that kills people to use their meat for food, lots of swearing (if that's an issue for you), a man probably in his 40's making advances on a 14-year-old girl (nothing big or graphic of course but the idea is still there), etc. that do make the game earn it's mature rating. Plus, even if he could handle it the game is very slow and story-based.
I'd recommend looking around to find some videos of in-game cinematics or something to get a better idea, but my guess is if he wants a zombie game he's probably better off with a Resident Evil or something.

I respect your opinion and see you don't have interest in xenoblade, but what did you think of the music. You gotta admit, the soundtrack is pretty good.

I didn't click on the ones you sent but I've had people link me it before and I seem to remember it being pretty good.

What would you say to toy story 4. Would you watch it.

I'd probably watch it, and I'd say there's actually some potential to work with since they're in a new place now. I don't think it's going to happen anytime soon but if it did I'd check it out.

Have you ever played xenoblade chronicles? If not, you have to trust me when I say it is one of the best jrpg of all time. The battle system never got stale, even at the end of the game, when I was probably 60 hours in. The plot is just brilliant, and it's executed very well. The graphics might....

(cont.) ... not be the best today, but on the wii, it pushes it as far as it will go. It's almost like okami where it feels like you are playing a painting. there are over 500 side quest, and you don't need to go back to the quest giver to complete it. At some point games become too big for me, and there's zero chance that I would remain engaged for that long with side quest after side quest. It sounds more like the kind of progression an MMO would have, but without friends to play with to make it bearable. The main plot simply can't be developed at a reasonable pace with that kind of downtime either. Graphics are unimportant to me, and a soundtrack can't carry a game alone. I appreciate the recommendation but I've looked into it before and this isn't really a game I'm interested in.

How did you see Joel at the end of last of us? Was he a hero for keeping Ellie safe, or was he a bad guy for what he did during the end of the game in the hospital and what he kept from happenning involving a cure for the infection and the infected.

Maybe a little of both?

It can't be that surprising that I'm among the millions of YouTubers who are. Right now the latest one (Trump/Scrooge) is, the Jordan/Ali one is also really good, Eastwood/Bruce Lee, Steve Jobs/Bill Gates, Einstein/Hawking, Dr. Seuss/Shakespeare (before Things 1 & 2 at least).
Also you don't need to leave both a channel comment and an ask.fm question. I'll see both.

Do you like southern rock (Marshall Tucker, Lynyrd Skynyrd, CCR, etc.)?

Southern Rock and I are very much on a song-by-song basis. In general, no, not really, but every now and then one comes on the radio that I'm okay with. Even just within one band, like Lynyrd Skynyrd for example: I don't really like Free Bird or Sweet Home Alabama, I'm sort of neutral on Simple Man and Call Me the Breeze, and I like Gimme Back my Bullets and That Smell.

What game do you think has the most drastic character development throughout the game.

If I'm allowed to pick an entire series instead, MGS is the first one that comes to mind as one of my favorites. It's spread out over a long time but every character has a story.

Remember the N64 game "Blast Corps"? Did you play it back in the day?

I rented it once but it wasn't really my thing.

I dunno, probably the part where you beat up Joker in the chapel or whatever.

Nah, I've seen both of them though.
