Why is the United States so hell bent on not using the metric system? The Imperial system doesn't even make sense, with the metric system everything revolves around units of 100.

We're trying, a lot of products are labeled with both customary units and SI units, and it's led to this weird amalgam in some cases. For example we sell drinks on both scales. We have 12 fl oz, 16 fl oz, 16.9 fl oz (.5 mL), 24 fl oz, 1 liter, 2 liter, etc. For example, this bottle of Mountain Dew I have is labeled "24 FL OZ (1.5 PT) 710 mL." I agree though, we should make the metric system standard. We should start teaching it as the primary means of measurement in schools, and maybe for a while still display customary units so as not to completely confuse people but make them the secondary label in parentheses instead. You know how Americans can be though, it seems half our population is still saying "learn English or get out" so it may be a while before we come around to switching measurement systems too.

Eh, I wouldn't say stupid, just incredibly overdone. That horse was beaten to death a long time ago in my opinion.

What kind of TV shows do you watch (if any)?

I don't watch a lot, the only shows I actually follow are Criminal Minds, The Following, and Burn Notice. I watch Sportscenter before bed and with breakfast in the morning, otherwise I'm usually not watching TV.

Do you play any steam games (Specifically TF2), and if you do, would you be willing to join for a live stream?

Not really, I'm not much of a PC gamer at all. I've played a couple games with a group of friends but that's about it. I'd only really guest with other people if I know them, in which case I don't mind at all, but since you're having to ask me anonymously here I doubt I know you.

Have you ever shed a tear/ cried over a video game? I'll admit I shed a tear over Mother 3 at 2 different parts and then at the end of the Telltale Walking Dead game.

Nah. Mother 3 kinda bummed me out for a while but I don't remember a time I've actually been crying during a game.

Do you have a favourite Zero Punctuation video?

Not really, most of them that I've seen have been pretty good.

What is your favourite and least favourite dungeon in Skyward Sword?

I guess Sandship and I dunno, Skyview?

I got one of the indie bundles because it had something in it I was interested in, I think it was Bastion. I also got the THQ one which had Darksiders in it and I got about halfway through and just haven't touched it since. I don't think there's anything wrong with the game it's just so strange playing it on PC and I don't want to spring for a 360 controller.

I dunno that I really have one, there are movies like The Matrix that are among my favorites that I haven't watched in years so I guess I try to change things up when I can. Scott Pilgrim is another one, if I'm watching something with a friend who hasn't seen it before that's usually one of the first ones I'll go to.

Who do you find funnier Slowbeef or Diabetus?

Their styles are somewhat different so it's hard to pick one over the other, and I'd probably say their dynamic together is better than each one separately. I will say Betus is too clever though, there are so many times that he comes up with some kind of wordplay that never would've occurred to me.

when you started lping, did you do any bad takes? or re-do episodes because you didnt like them? if so, how long has it been since you re-made an episode

If anything I do more retakes now than I did when I started, because when I started I didn't have any idea what I was doing. I usually don't retake in the middle of an episode, but I've started videos over multiple times before if it's near the start and things just aren't going well. If I flub something badly after that I may redo the line later, or just scrap it in editing if it wasn't that great of an idea anyway. Part of doing live commentary with no script is finding the best way to deal with those inevitable flubs.

Do you think that Ask should have a comment function, not just questions and answers so that people can add onto what you or others have answered?

I'd say most certainly yes, it keeps people from having to send in another question directly to my inbox that others can't see until I answer it and all that. Referring to specific questions is tricky when they're mostly anonymous and unlabeled.

What are your top 5 favorite foods?

It's hard to give them in a concrete order because my answer changes depending on what I'm feeling at the time, so I'll just say the first five things that come to my mind. Lasagna, pizza, buffalo chicken, chicken parmesan (I really like Italian food, sue me), and I guess I'll just go with burgers as a fifth. I'm definitely not a complicated foodie or anything.

Someone asked me if they wanted to buy a watering can, like they did you. Do you think a spam is going around or what?

Nah, from what someone else on here told me it's from some YouTube Machinima thing, so there are probably a bunch of people like "OMG THAT WUZ FUNNY IM GUNNA ASK EVRY1 THAT NOW" because, well, I'm sure you know how the internet is.

What's the usual topic of discussion with friends? Politics, school, what do you guys talk about?

I guess usually just what's going on in our lives, a lot of friends I can only get together with a few times a month since they live elsewhere or have a busy schedule so there's usually quite a bit to talk about there. How work's going, how school's going, etc. If we've heard any local news we'll talk about it or if someone read some weird news article on the internet or something. Very rarely politics, we usually agree about most things so there's really no ground to gain. Sometimes we'll update each other on where people we knew in college are nowadays, not in a gossipy way but just like where they're working or going to school and whatnot. Just casual stuff.

You'd run the risk then of just having too many dungeons. I'd say maybe 1 dungeon, a la Skyward Sword. I actually really liked the way that game handled it.

What's your worst fear?

Honestly I dunno, nothing's really jumping out at me. If I had to pick something right now I'd probably have to say us wiping ourselves out via some preventable means, like a nuclear war. All it takes is one crazy person to push the button and start a chain reaction that completely nullifies everything we've accomplished up to this point.
