Ignoring the dangers of a full dive, coma state, virtual reality such as the inability to know if someone breaks in or if your house is on fire or an earthquake, would you purchase it. Or would the idea of stimulating the 5 senses and blocking off the world seem like too much for you.

I don't know that you can just ignore that aspect of it; that's kind of the main reason I wouldn't be into something like that. Even if you want to make a huge leap and say they figured out a way to address those issues I'd still wait until it's been on the market for years and extensive testing for possible health effects had gone into it. Basically shutting out your mind for hours a day sounds like it could be problematic.

Looking forward to the LOD stream bats! One of my all time favorites. Question/request for future plans: would you ever stream Chrono Trigger?

That might actually be a possibility, but it'd be pretty far down the list due to the fact that everyone has seen everything about it by now.

How was the food at your college? Was it a food-court type of place with fast food, or did you guys actually have "good-for-you" food?

Neither. It was basically just a cafeteria with some kind of flavorless meat or poultry and mashed potatoes for both lunch and dinner every single day. My high school cafeteria was better most days. I stopped eating there after my freshman year and just made sandwiches and occasionally went out.

Okay, am I screwing up or is ask.fm doing it? When I have sent you questions recently they seem to leave out at least one word in what I post. Like below. It's supposed to say Horror Land, not just Land. And the other is supposed to be Gauntlet Legends, not just Legends. I know I put those words in.

Don't know what you're talking about, all the words are there for me.

Hey batman, glad to hear you'll be doing more streams soon. I look forward to them. Anyway, it's unrelated, but IIRC you do web development work? I went to college for one year for CS & haven't been able to find any jobs doing computer related stuff (which is my forte, regardless of how many years..

(cont.) ... of college I've taken). I live in a small town in the middle of nowhere and I've got a LinkedIn profile and a few other sites but none of them ever list any computer stuff. Do you have any advice for finding a computer job? Anything would be helpful. I hate my current job.
---------------------------------------------
Sorry, but I don't really have any advice. I don't much CS experience (generally web and DBMS stuff, we have an IT department to handle hardware and server management) and I just walked into my job at the same college that I went to due to having an internship there for credit hours. Forget about living in a town in the middle of nowhere, you'll definitely have to move to wherever there is a job. I'm not familiar at all with LinkedIn or any of that stuff, I couldn't imagine any employers actually browse that to find potential hires or anything. Google searches for computer-related jobs in surrounding areas (or beyond) may help but I'm just taking a shot in the dark, really.

What have you been listening to music-wise recently?

HighRollinMace’s Profile PhotoMason Atwater
Honestly nothing aside from what's come on the radio in the car. I've had too much to do at work to keep any tunes in the background.

So, growing up, were most weekends spent at a friend's house, or did the friends come to your house, or was it 50/50?

I was pretty much always at theirs unless it was my birthday or something. I lived 15-20 minutes from anyone who lived in town, a lot of them lived within walking distance of each other.

Ever consider doing a stream of Gauntlet Legends for the 64 with some friends?

Never played it, don't really have local "gaming" friends anyway.

If you suddenly picked up a sword, instantly fell asleep, and then woke up seven years in the future like Link what would you do?

Go to a hospital.

Are you a feminist?

I generally shy away from describing myself as an anything "-ist" (especially when it's one so general and misunderstood) but I'd say my views fall into that camp, yeah.

Ever consider doing a Luigi's Mansion game whether it's the first one on GameCube or one of the DS games?

Never played any of them.

Is legend of Dragoon going to be a 100% run? btw looking forward to the live streams

I'll do all the side quests I can remember and show off everything I can, but I'm not worried about getting every chest or anything, mostly because I haven't played the game in a few years. All the Stardust is probably a safe bet, it's easy enough to just pull up a list in another window.

Why not live stream the rest of Earthbound and not cancel it? If you live stream it in the way you spoke of in the update, the editing won't be an issue.

Nah. Lots of random battles that take a while, fair amount of backtracking and non-eventful walking around, plus I'd probably forget what I'm supposed to do next a lot (I've only actually played through it once or twice, and the last completion was a couple years ago). Also, like I said, I'm just burnt out on it. I really just want to play Legend of Dragoon.

With this new livestreaming idea, is mgs a possible game?

Nah, again you can't do one without doing them all really so no dice. Also that series has gameplay that's really easy to screw up just once and have everything go to shit so you'd really need to be able to fix that in editing if you were having trouble with a part or forgot exactly where to go.

In your update video, you mentioned canceling GTA IV, ad I've been wondering when you first started it. I subbed at Skyward Sword, so I don't know when you did it.

Sometime in 2011 I think.

I must ask, after seeing your recent update video. *If* you are going to stop playing games on video permanently (which I hope you don't), will you delete your YouTube/Twitch/Everything page?

No. When I eventually stop, everything will stay up for as long as the Internet will have it.

Are there any games you've played that you'd give a 10/10?

This is a hard one, I'm not in the business of assigning numbers and 10/10 is a deceptive rating. It's not saying they're perfect, but it's more like they went above and beyond and were a pinnacle in some sense without really having anything to drag it down.
Mother 3 for sure, I also think Chrono Trigger would get one, Mario 3, Metal Gear Solid 3. There's something about 3's apparently. That's all I can think of without spending a ton of time on it.

With Theatrythm, what is your favorite music, and what is your atual party?

I mean, there are like 216 songs so picking one is pretty much impossible. Stuff like Battle at the Big Bridge, Fight with Seymour, The Darkness of Eternity, Battle 1 (FFIII), Battle 2 (FFIV), Dancing Mad, Festival of the Hunt, Monster Ronde... the list just goes on.
My BMS party is Auron, Cloud, Paine, Warrior of Light (who I'll replace with Sephiroth once I can find those last two black crystals) all running a Focus 2+3 and Added Cut build, FMS party is Onion Knight (all-out Agility Up and Wind Rhapsody), Zidane, Locke, Cid (Luck Up + Treasure Hunter + Sight).

Can you get me the ISBN code for those math books you have? I'm assuming they are still good and up to date.

Don't think I saved any math books, mostly just the computer ones. Either way they're buried somewhere in my closet an hour away. Pretty sure a Google search for math textbooks will be fine.

Will you get (or have you gotten) Destiny for the PS4? I heard it's a really awesome game.

Nope, it definitely doesn't look like my type of game. Also you must have selective hearing, it's gotten pretty consistently average reviews just about everywhere.
