Well looks like I'm out of luck. The Legacy Collection is going to be a PS3 exclusive. Just another example of why I wish I had gotten a PS3 instead of Xbox 360. PS3's exclusives are way better.

Really? That's lame. Well for what it's worth I just bought the last HD collection a few months ago and now they release a new one with more stuff so it's a slap in the face to me too in some ways.

do you do any sports? I was watching one of your videos, and you commented on not being that athletic, and it got me wondering if you do anything sportsy :)

I played pretty much all of them I could as a kid, but I don't anymore. By high school everything had a "winning is all there is" mentality and it just turned me away from them. I played in pickup football or street hockey games every now and then at that point, but once everyone moved away for college there weren't really any more chances to.

omg im so sorry. i really thought you played final fantasy 7 based on your history of ff games. anyway so sorry!

(It was a joke, based on the fact that "Aeris dies" is basically impossible to spoil for anyone nowadays.)

Is Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes a good port/remake? I don't really have access to the original Metal Gear Solid for PS1 and I remember playing a solid chunk of Twin Snakes when I was like 12 or 13 but that's like 8 years ago now. I just wanted to know if it's good/true to the story.

If you can't get the original, Twin Snakes is fine. I'd recommend the original over it but the only real changes aside from graphical improvements I can think of are that Mei Ling and Naomi dropped their accents, the cutscenes are much more ridiculous, a few items have changed places, and you can do the PAL key process a lot quicker if you know where to look. The story and everything is the same of course.

What's the most annoying part of doing LPs? Personally, I don't like people constantly requesting to do games, yet they still do so.

No reason to be annoyed by that, in fact every time someone makes a request it's a reminder that they think your videos are good enough to do justice to whatever game they're requesting. Does it get old responding to the same request time and time again? Maybe a little bit, sure, but it's better than nobody wanting anything out of you.
The most annoying part for me is editing. I watch every video start to finish to clean up as much of it as I can. This takes about 1.5x to 2x the length of the video, and any one mistake can sometimes ruin the whole thing depending on how severe it is. I've gotten decent at it though, so it's mostly only annoying now because it's the most time-consuming part that involves actual input from me.

Do you like to watch Saturday night live?

Nah. It's really hit and miss for me, with more misses than hits. I'll just wait until there's a good sketch that people tell me about and then I'll check it out on YouTube.

Did you like the batman movie with jim carrey as the riddler and tommy lee jones as two face?

Sure. It's been a long time since I've seen it though.

What do you think your personality is? Funny, serious, etc.?

I dunno, one of the things people are worst at is describing themselves. Generally I'd say I'm laid-back, with a more dry sense of humor, skeptical but not immediately distrusting, eager to learn, prefer hanging out with a couple good friends over a bunch of people... not sure what more you want.

Before you start a Let's Play, do you take notes, do practice runs, and discuss with your partner potentially interesting levels/secrets you want to cover? Or is it more of an improv thing?

I take notes of where important things are and what general route I want to take before the project starts, and I do a practice run of each section the day before I do a recording. Commentary is live and improvised aside from any major points I know beforehand I want to cover. My invisible and mute partner likes everything I do so I don't consult with them.

Also if I were to buy the Metal Gear HD Collection would I be missing any key story elements of the series in the games that are in the collection? I tried to read into it online but there were spoilers I didn't want to accidentally see!

Wait for the Legacy Collection that's supposed to come out in June. It has MGS1-4 (which includes the original Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2 since it was included with MGS3 Subsistence) and Peace Walker.

You definitely make Metal Gear Rising look easier than it is! I finished the first chapter with a C Rank on Normal.. Haha. How'd you get so good? Just inherent video game skills?! Also you should take a look at the Devil May Cry Reboot. The combat in the games seems semi similar!

Any skill I have is just because I've played it a lot. My main file has beaten it on normal, hard, very hard, revengeance, then hard again so I know the game pretty well. I've heard a lot of mixed opinions on DmC, and I've seen a few gameplay videos and I'm not really sure if I'd get into it or not.

I know you're a Devils fan or a Brodeur fan at least, but are you somewhat pulling for any teams in the playoffs? If not, are there any teams that you really don't want to win?

Not really, I'm just pulling for the lower seeds and teams that haven't won it in a long time.

Will you be getting the trophy for over 400 different conversations in the MGR:R LP?

That would be the most boring LP ever. I am going to make a video for codec "highlights" from each file (this week's is actually ready, just need to render it and upload) but if I were to include every call I could find it would've added at least an hour and a half just to this week's batch alone.

are you going to stick to the old youtube layout for the longrun? i like the old a lot better too.

For as long as possible. We'll be forced to switch before too much longer anyway I'm sure.

I think you answered this when you first started doing it, but I couldn't find it on your Facebook or anything, but was there any specific reason you starting making 30 min videos instead of 15 min?

I started doing it in the middle of Skies of Arcadia, mostly because it was a slow enough game that you don't really make a lot of progress in fifteen minutes. As I kept doing it I found I liked the workflow of doing two or three 30-minute videos more than doing five 15-minute videos a week, so it just kind of stuck.

Just saw you said Assassin's Creed 2 is one of your favorite games. Man, I love that game. The story was so emotional, seeing Ezio become an assassin. Personally, I love the first kill (Uberto Alberti), You can feel the rage and anger of Ezio as he stabs him.

Pretty good game.
