Hey Batman have you ever considered going to take a vacation in Kentucky, since you have such a busy work life and all?

I live in Kentucky so that would be kind of a boring vacation. I only get two weeks per year anyway, so I don't just take them randomly.

What advice would you give to someone who wished to get into let's playing and wished to become one themselves?

Just dive in, no reason to sit there and wish. Do a little research or playing around and figure out how to record, pick a game you love, and go nuts. In terms of actually making the videos the only advice I ever really have is to be yourself, relax and, above all else, have fun.

So how do you feel about your Batman Arkham Asylum let's play having several hundred-thousand views?

I'm not sure what made that series in particular get so much attention but to me it's more of a "huh, that's interesting" fact than anything else. The only annoying part is the comments section is largely garbage. The rest of my videos get like 20-40 comments that are usually all worthwhile and sometimes spark conversation; the Arkham Asylum comments are mostly mindless and make me scratch my head.

How was your weekend? I know it's almost the next weekend, I just forgot to ask.

I was just attacked because I posted on a board saying it's silly to have a rule that disallows animated spider images. It wasn't even morbid and it was a response to someone that posted it. I also said that people need to get over their fears and they just told me that's a silly thing to say.

(cont.) ... Was I in the wrong? or should I just leave that community? Honestly these days I think I don't want to be apart of any internet community at all. Dealing with these kind of people really stress me out.

If not allowing spider gifs is such a big deal to you that you need to make a post about how silly it is, or if having to deal with people is just so stressful, then maybe an online community isn't for you. It's not worth being stressed out to be a part of some little forum.
I'm sure there had to be some kind of incident in the past that necessitated it, or maybe one of the staff members or forum regulars have severe arachnophobia (in which case "just get over your fears" doesn't quite cut it) and it's more of a courtesy rule than anything. Part of joining a community is agreeing to abide by their rules. You can usually ask a question about them if you do it respectfully ("It's not a big deal but I was just curious what prompted the 'spider' rule?"), believe it or not most forum staff I've known would be glad to help you understand their justification, but if you just chastise them they'll be inclined to treat you the same way.

I just have to say you have the best Skies of Arcadia Legends Let's Play. I can tell you love the game and play it well. This comes from a new lets player btw

Did you ever play Cruisin' USA in the arcade back in the day?

I played pretty much all the Cruisin' game at least once. Still own Cruisin' USA on N64.

Have you considered doing an older MGS game as a LP. I kinda missed them as games and i dont currently have the options to play them. so the one thing i like to do is watch lets plays of games like that. Yours are really enjoyable btw

As I've said before it's hard to do just one game without finishing the rest since they tell one overarching story, and that's too much of a time commitment for me. how do you find riddler trophies

Depends on which game you're talking about. In Asylum you could find the maps that highlight the Riddler stuff for you, in City you can interrogate Riddler's cronies. You could also look around and use your eyes too, very few of them are super cryptically hidden.

What is the best part of your job? Does it bring a good feeling knowing you're helping students and staff on a regular basis?

When making things for people is your job there's not really a "feel good" factor to it, a lot of them suck to work with anyway. The best part is how relaxed it is, there's basically no stress.

So what do you get to work on as a programmer analyst?

I basically take care of our some of our website, and our campus portal which has utilities and reports for students and staff,

2 questions. for what reason would you ever cancel a lp? and in chrono trigger do you keep it on the "wait" or "active" battle option.

The only one I ever canceled was due to potential copyright issues when transferring it to YouTube, otherwise I dunno, I guess if I just wasn't enjoying it. I always use wait.

how much do you get from youtube videos. not you specifaically, but how much would i make? is it a ratio per views, adds? i really dont know.

You get a figure called a CPM, which is essentially how much you earn per 1,000 monetized views. This is further divided according to your agreement with whatever group you got partnered with.

Would you say Amazon is your primary source for video game/LP material?

I've bought all my equipment off of it and most of my old games. Some of the newer ones I've stopped by GameStop but basically all but two of my SNES games were ordered from Amazon.

Have you ever thought about taking the test and joining Mensa?

IQ doesn't mean anything to me. Doubt I'd pass anyway but I'm not terribly interested to begin with.
