Do you plan to check out mother 4 when it comes out? Looks like a pretty good game, and amazing for a fan game. But that's just from what we have so far.

Nah, not really that interested. Looking good "for a fan game" pretty much sums it up. Everyone would have to proclaim it as being the best thing ever for me to want to take a look.

Did you know that in Paper Mario 2, some of Frederic Chopin's work is in the game? In the Chapter 2 interlude, when you start dancing, the song that plays is part of Chopin's Opus 64 no. 2. I thought it was pretty cool, what about you?

Sure, not unheard of though.

How are you enjoying the last of us remastered

I was really surprised how much of an upgrade the graphics were, the 60 fps especially serves it well. Better loading times are also a big plus, it was super slow when you were first firing it up on PS3.

Spoilers- Do you think it was physically possible for joel to survive that one incident in the college.

Speaking realistically, probably not, but that'd make for a crappy ending wouldn't it?

Boo. Wikipedia is not a scholarly source. You told us that at some point.

It's good enough for a general understanding. If you really want Einstein's research that says the exact same thing I'm sure it's out there somewhere. You can also check its sources, which are cited throughout the article.

You wouldn't happen to have an idea or theory as to how gravity works do you? I asked myself what is gravity and was like "the thingy force dealio that makes stuff go down?" and sure enough I don't really know.

So what do you think you'll be doing with all that dinero? Perhaps donations, investing, hanging with friends more often, or perhaps just pay off some bills.

Don't have any immediate plans, just going in the bank.

What other items are worth buying in shops in Necrodancer?

Always get the 7 gold torch if you don't have one. Ring of War is usually expensive (generally 175) but worth it if it's in Zone 1 and you're getting the Crown of Greed. 1 bomb for 50 or 3 bombs for 150 is always worth it, after the Crown you can get 100 gold per bomb. Yellow scroll for 125 is a no-brainer (use it with the Crown for 300 gold). Gold Dagger for 37 is good if you get a crappy gold weapon from the blood shop, and the apple for 25 is an okay purchase to make up for paying one heart in the blood shop.
This is all assuming you're doing score runs, by the way. Otherwise feel free to buy anything you think would be useful.

Two questions: 1) Are you done with Necrodancer now that the Necrothon's done and you've posted some very impressive scores? 2) Is buying the Ring of Gold for 75g in shops worth it in the long run?

No, I'm still looking forward to all the updates. Zone 4 isn't even in yet, there's still a lot more cool stuff to be added. It's also just fun to come home and spend an hour or so with.
Always. Ring of Gold is an extra 1 gold per enemy, you will kill more than 75 enemies (38 with Crown of Greed) throughout the course of the run.

Do you think Ebola will hit everybody in america and kill the human race off as we know it? :( A lot of my friends says it is one of the deadly viruses the bible talks about in the end times.

No, it most likely won't even spread past the two health care workers we brought back.

Will you continue DKC2?

Yeah, it's all recorded but honestly I'm kind of waiting for YouTube to roll out 60 fps support. I'll keep filling the space with other stuff until I either get tired of waiting or it becomes available.

Have you ever tried to tackle any of the 7 millennium math problems? They're chosen, unsolved, math problems that have a prize of $1,000,000 for the first correct answer.

Nope, they're beyond me anyway.

What was the last MMO you played?

I played TERA Rising with a friend up until recently when we realized that the game is absolutely terrible.

Do you have any beginners tips for COTN?

Learn each enemy individually, use the Beastmaster if you need to and figure out how to kill each one while keeping yourself safe. Memorizing enemy patterns and AI is the single most important thing in the game. Once you understand them all just make sure to be cautious, don't charge into uncleared rooms or run around without knowing where you're going. Try to take out enemies that move quickly first, funnel larger groups of enemies into a narrow hallway or doorway when you can, be patient

Have you tried using custom mp3s in necrodancer yet?

I've tried it with maybe a dozen songs from Mother 3 and Secret of Mana.

Did you like taking stats?

I like statistics, but I never really liked any of the classes I took for them. Having an understanding of statistics is probably more valuable than most types of math you'll learn in school on a day to day basis. Snake oil merchants and politicians (if there's a difference) shove interpretations of numbers and studies in your face all the time that have been manipulated to suggest support for their side; it's incredibly helpful when you can take the raw numbers and interpret them for yourself. It's another tool in your arsenal to try to come to unbiased conclusions.

What was it about Eternal Sonata that made you stop playing.

I dunno, I was just bored. Wasn't into the characters or the setting, and it was all just blending together. For having played as much of it as I did I remember less about it than most games I've spent time with.
