Doubt they'd be able to do it right, I say let's just stick to what we know.

are you familier with any of the star ocean games. specifically the 3rd one till the end of time. did you enjoy them and might you do them someday. if you've played them before that is.

I've played that one, as well as whatever the one on the PS3 was called. They're not bad. I don't plan to do any them as LP's though, they're way too large.

What makes a game LP material?

You can make most games work if you really put your heart into it, it's no lie that certain games will probably work better for LP's than others though. I think what makes some of the best material is uniqueness, variety, good pacing, and of course being enjoyable for the person doing it. Some of these things can be worked around, but in general if you've got a memorable game you enjoy and you know how to keep things flowing that's a good formula. For a game that falls short in some way you have to figure out how to compensate for it.

What is your view on college debt? Is it worth it?

It's tough, I'm not going to lie. I was fortunate enough to get a full scholarship out of high school so thankfully it's not something I've had to deal with personally. The rising costs of education make it harder on our generation than any that have come before, but I do think it's worth it. Many colleges will work with you to try to get you the best scholarship they can based on your financial need. For example, Berea College about an hour away from me gives all of its students some form of four-year scholarship based on your EFC, and offers a labor program to help students cover additional costs. This may mean you can't go to that expensive private arts college you've been looking at, but that's part of life, and an important lesson to learn. A degree from a public university is just as good. If you really sit down and look at your options, plan out your financial aid, and weigh all of the options out there, you may not be able to escape without some form of debt, but it can at least be manageable.
I'm a believer in a college education. What surprised me the most at the time when I got to high school was how very little it prepares you for "the real world." It's not necessarily that college courses teach you these things, its focus is still primarily academic, but it's the experience that gives you a great chance to mature. In college you're suddenly responsible for yourself. You're living out on your own if you're a residential student, your professors and school officials expect results, and you have the responsibility of getting to class, completing your coursework, and taking care of yourself. The academics and additional knowledge you gain doesn't hurt either. Sure, there are people who live perfectly fine lives straight out of high school, but I personally believe in always trying to better and refine yourself, life isn't worth living unless you're challenging yourself.
There's my lecture for the day I guess.

What inspired you to make YouTube videos?

I just saw a few LP videos and thought it looked like fun. That's pretty much it.

do you like megaman x8

Never played it, not really that interested. Mega Man's wheelhouse is the simple elegance of its 2D platformers.

Do you agree that Nintendo needs to work on the boss battles in their Zelda games? Since OoT the bosses, once figured out, become easy! I think they need to find a way to add adapability to the bosses so you have to change up your strategy mid fight etc. Thoughts?

They'd have to be careful about that, since I'd say bosses are supposed to be easier once you figure out the strategy. Any boss that remains hard after you know what to do starts crossing into annoyance territory. It couldn't hurt to maybe add a phase where you have to switch up your tactics, but it still holds true that once we figure that part out it'll still be easy. That's just the way bosses go in most games.

If you could go back into the past and view any event that has happened in history, but not be able to interact so to avoid any time travel snafoos, what event would you want to witness?

Wow, this is such a huge question I'm not even sure where to begin. There are so many interesting and important historical events. The first thing that comes to mind is to be there for Apollo 11, when Neil Armstrong first set foot on the moon. I'm talking actually be up there with them. To be able to witness the "giant leap for mankind" would be unbelievable.

Was math your favorite subject in school?

When I had good teachers, yeah. The problem is there were only a couple of good ones until I got into college so most of the time it was a chore. When I was in sixth grade, the teacher would give her lesson and then just sit at her desk while I walked around the classroom and helped people. She actually asked me to. It got super interesting in college though because I had a really good professor for almost all of my classes.

Wait, so on the list from one of the previous answers you gave, why would you choose Earthbound and not Mother 3? You've said quite a few times that it's your favorite game, If I'm not mistaken.

The Mother 3 cart is Japanese, since I couldn't download anything I wouldn't be able to read any of it.

are you interested in ni no kuni wrath of the white witch at all.

I played the demo and it wasn't doing much for me.

you're on a deserted island, for the rest of your, with every video game system know to man. but you can only have 10 games. which games would you choose. you cant use cheats and you cant download games. you need the accual game disc/ cartridge.

This is a very strange deserted island I'm on. For it to have all those consoles, a TV, and electricity and nothing else would make me question what else was hidden there. The answer to the question is probably irrelevant since I doubt I'd survive for very long if it really was a deserted island. For the sake of not being difficult though I'll give a list. I'm assuming by the "no downloading" it's limited to the games I already own, and I won't use online games since I could use those to talk to the rest of the world and get someone to rescue me:
Earthbound, Secret of Mana, Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, Chrono Trigger, Legend of Dragoon, Banjo-Kazooie, Paper Mario, Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon, Final Fantasy 9.

Are you a fan of the 8-bit Mega Man games, and if so, which is your favourite one?

I've played most of them at one point or another, I'm not very good at them though. Couldn't pick a favorite, not really familiar enough with each of them to tell.

What kind of Batsnacks do you prefer?

I don't really snack a lot, if I do it's just a bowl of chips, fritos, pretzels, etc.

Have you played any game in Namco`s "Tales of" series?

I've played Tales of Symphonia on the GameCube, and Tales of Legendia on the PS2. They were okay.

Do you like the Star Fox series?

I like the SNES and N64 games, never played that Star Fox Adventures or whatever it is.

are you interested in xenoblade chronicles at all. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fXr1SmWdT8o

Eh, not really. One thing I loved about that trailer was that it spends all this time trying to showcase the landscapes and graphics when they honestly look pretty sub-par by today's standards. Otherwise it just looked like your typical JRPG, unless it can set itself apart from all of the other stuff out there I'm not really too interested in it.

Have you ever played the Uncharted games? They are just about the only reason I want a PS3.. Plus it seems like the PS3 exclusive games are better than Xbox 360.. But since I have an Xbox it would be pointless to buy a $200 system for a few games.

Yeah, I've played all three. They're good games, I just think they're more fun to watch than to play. I've only really wanted to play through each one once.

Can you remember how many times you have beaten Skyward Sword before you knew everything in it?

I beat it once on normal mode and got to like 90% through hero mode before I got tired of it. I don't just know everything off the top of my head, I cross-reference guides to map out where everything is and figure out the best time to get them. There's quite a bit of planning and practice that happens before each recording.
