I think we might find a new home planet by then. I might even say we could live in a star ocean-esce universe. Its possible.

Possible, but I'd say the odds of dominant life being humans exactly as they are now in a billion years are rather low.

I've always thought The Joker was a far more interesting character than Batman. (no offense, bats)

Probably. At least he's always doing something unique.

So supposedly we have less than about a billion years until our oceans dry up and the planet becomes uninhabitable. What ways do you think we could do to either lessen the effects or neutralize it? I'm thinking applying transparent panels of some sort to lessen the radiation intake.

Maybe in a billion years whatever is living here, if anything, will think of something but for right now all we know is the sun, like any star, will expand as it becomes a red giant. This expansion will eventually engulf the Earth entirely. The only way I can think of to avoid this is to find some way to nudge the Earth to an orbit further away as the sun expands, then readjust again whenever it becomes a white dwarf. We're talking billions of years here though so who knows what life will look like at that point.

Can you give me some tips on doing the combos in Mother 3? I'm playing on mednafen with frameskip set to 0. I usually try to hit the button on the start of each beat, but it's really weird. I googled it and a lot of people say that emulating it makes it hard or impossible... But you're good at it.

If you're emulating it you'll have to hit the button slightly before each beat to account for lag. It's much more difficult but with practice you barely even notice it. I really want to play it on an actual GBA just to see how much easier combos are.

For the city question, it's a phenomenon called priming. Without a stimulus relating to a city (like the name), you'll probably only remember the most popular cities, or the cities you've recently visited, etc. However, if someone says the name for you, the likelihood that you will remember...

(cont.) ... hearing/not hearing the city will go up because you had to think about the city seconds before answering the question.

Indeed.

Why can't I list every city I know, but I can tell you if I know it or not?

What if you say you don't know it, but then you end up remembering it later? What if you said you knew a city that I made up, maybe because it sounds similar to another real city that you can't quite remember exactly?

Would you say that moral nihilism is actually a morality?

What do you mean "a morality?" If you mean amorality then the only way you could really relate the two is that moral nihilism describes the amorality of the universe. They're not the same thing though, someone could subscribe to moral nihilism but be deeply concerned about morality in general.

What do you think Batman's philosophy on morality is?

I'm not sure, seeing as how he's a fictional character that changes depending on who's writing for him at the time. If we're just going off the Nolan trilogy (because that's really all I know in any detail) there's some semblance of moral absolutism (killing is wrong, period) but in other cases he's willing to bend the rules for a greater good (spying on everyone in Gotham in order to find Joker). I think him and Kant would have similar mindsets; he judges what's right based on duty, and is more concerned with the motivations behind performing an action than the immediate consequences.

Do brains often do that? Seems counterproductive.

Think of a city, right now. Any city in the world.

Did Vienna ever enter your mind? You know it exists, but you probably didn't even think of it as a possible option. If your brain let you think of every single city that you've ever heard of you'd be overwhelmed.

Maybe...there's...I got nothing

Do you really have nothing, or is your brain just preventing you from thinking of something?

What's your philosophy on morality?

I just try to act in a way that does as little harm and causes as little suffering as possible to people. Call it whatever "ism" or school of thought you want, I just try to be kind.

Maybe there's a problem with your ears.

Maybe there's a problem with the way your brain interprets what your ears hear.

If Nintendo made a console zelda every year would it be enough for you to buy a Wii U? Also being realistic, do you think a new Zelda U game will be at the end of the Wii U life cycle and we'll only get 1 new zelda game for it?

I'm so glad they don't do that. The series would get stale super fast as they push out rushed game after rushed game. And I don't know their development cycle or when the end of the Wii U's life will be or anything like that so I couldn't tell you.

What's your opinion on moral nihilism?

Like I said with existential nihilism you have to take it beyond that. If you want to say that there's no intrinsic good or bad in the universe then fine, but if you leave it at that you have an incomplete moral philosophy. You have to decide how to use that view. You could say there's no intrinsic good or bad therefore any human construct of morality is baseless and should be thrown out, or therefore we are responsible for constructing a moral system that best benefits our survival, or minimizes our suffering or whatever else. If you just say "I'm a moral nihilist" that tells me nothing useful.

So what do you think of Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword? I think they could have worked on music a...good portion. Like all of it.

For a general opinion just check out my last video since I'm too lazy to type a whole bunch right now. The music overall is mediocre, I'll agree. It works but there isn't a single theme that sticks with me after it's over.

What do you think of the people who say we never went to the moon?

Don't think anything of them to be honest. Their belief isn't based in reality in any way, but they're not really hurting anyone so I'll just leave them to it and focus on more important things.

In skies of Arcadia during ship battles does it matter who you attack with?

I think so. I think the ship's stats are modified a little by whoever is acting on that turn.

Do you like to drink coffee, and if so where should someone who has never had a cup before start?

Nah, I'm not a coffee drinker.

Did you know that when you're remembering something, you're really just remembering the last time you remembered it?

Not to mention that you can, and probably do, remember some things that actually never happened. The brain is a powerful thing.
