It is very likely that he was deported. It was a small town and nobody ever saw him again! That’s only one of many crazy stories from working at the local shopping mall in my youth.

Unfortunately yes! 😂 It is a real story. My coworker filed a separate police report and ended up taking legal action against him to get his cell phone back and the outrageous bill (hundreds of dollars in calls overseas) compensated. The ordeal lasted several weeks. It was so crazy!

I had a co-worker 20 years ago who began stealing employees’ purses and cell phones. When questioned, his argument was that the items were left unattended and therefore presented to him as gifts from God himself. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 He was fired, reported to the police, and never seen again.
There are also a seemingly endless number of wealthy Nigerian princes begging to put millions of dollars in my bank account. Why am I still poor? 🤣

Make the rejection very clear, or even rude if necessary. Politeness never works. Most of all, do what you have to do to ensure your safety. File a police report if that would help. I’ve been there, sorry it’s happening to you.

Why are divorces so expensive?
Due to being a retired paralegal and also a divorcee, I can tell you that it’s way more expensive to end a legal contract than enter it. That’s what marriage is, a binding contract under law. Dissolving it requires the time and work of several people, and those people have to get paid. The less difficult the case is, the less expensive it will be. That’s why most couples divorce under uncontested irreconcilable differences instead of the real reason (adultery, abuse, etc. which involves way more work, stress, and money). ID is the quickest way out if the couple isn’t eligible for annulment.

Greatly dislike root beer. I can’t have it anyway due to kidney disease (licorice is bad for kidneys, fyi people).

How's the corona situation where you live? Is it getting better or worse? 😷
It is unfortunately still getting worse in my area. Several nursing homes and apartment buildings are affected as of last night. What’s bad is that the governor loosened the restrictions, so a lot of people aren’t even bothering with social distancing and masks anymore. It’s a disaster. This state should have gone on lockdown sooner and people should have taken this more seriously. I don’t hate living on the gulf coast but these states are ignorantly defiant and are now paying the price.

What can bring people together?
A common interest, but it rarely lasts. People are selfish and impatient and will find any reason to turn a friendship into a toxic experience. I’m about ready to throw the whole damn internet away myself.

Managing my medical conditions. I don’t deal with it well. Most days I wish I’d never been born.
