I think I agree, as there are too many people who vote mindlessly, or don’t vote at all, and that has caused great turmoil in this country.

Pokémon is my #1 hobby right now. Literally just got home from Raid Hour! I’ve sold over 600 cards and still have a binder full of them. I have several plush and T-shirts. Hooked (I mean HOOKED) on the anime. I’ve marathoned the entire 20+ years of episodes over the last 2 years, and I’ve written psychological analyses of some of the characters. I’ve watched Journeys and the Galar specials every night this week. Hop is an angel on Earth, and Goh is my beautiful gay son. LOL

I am PokeObsessed. I admit it. Blame my nieces for getting me started on this four years ago. I play the game more than they do now, but we still have priceless conversations about Pokémon every time we see each other. Their Aunt is a Pokémon Trainer, and they love that. 😎 I love it, too. 🤩

I think everyone in general would have to be far more self-aware and cautious as to not offend innocent people. It’s possible to omit petty unnecessary thoughts and still be an honest person.

I’m not entirely sure that I’ve had them before. I’ve had turnips and carrots, which are quite similar. My area doesn’t grow parsnips for some reason.

In your location is there a regional (or perhaps dialect) curse/cuss word that gets used? Hereabouts we often call people who behave like d*cks or clowns “wazzocks”(sometimes spelt wassocks).

The only one I can really think of that’s regional is coonass, lol. It’s what some people call Cajuns (which includes me, but I don’t use it nor claim it). Redneck is another one, I guess. Both refer to people who live rural (country hicks), often live off of the land (hunters, farmers), and are poorly educated.

I’ve always wanted to be an artist ever since I was a young child. So, after my divorce and Hurricane Katrina and breaking my leg and tearing my knee, I decided to finally pursue it. I draw a little bit and paint a little bit. I used to teach painting classes, but I don’t now because I’m medically retired.

Despite my physical limitations, I won an award, and a scholarship to the local community college, and was given a few art shows. It was an experience that I will not soon forget.
