I have a large jar candle for power outage emergencies. It’s probably vanilla. I have a difficult time with fragrances.

I’m fine with getting old. I’ll be very surprised if I make it to my senior years.

I’m neutral at best most days. I do enjoy road trips if I’m not in horrible pain.

What kind've music can you no stand to hear?
Screaming, roaring grunge metal, country western/honky tonk, and a fair amount of rap. I can’t stand Sweet Home Alabama; the original nor the KR version. I do have a few exceptions in the country genre (The Eagles, for example), but I admit I’m critical of most. I hate shopping in my town because the stores are always playing either drunk hillbilly nonsense or loud rap with a constant stream of the “N” word. It’s incredible what society has normalized.

How is your family?
They’re ok I guess. My biological father died 15 years ago yesterday, so my brother was sad. My niece raised money on Facebook. The usual grief/remembrance stuff. I saw a new ultrasound of my nephew. We’re counting down the weeks.

It's ok if you don't know but whats the best way to deal with a toxic,monipulative person?
Stand up for yourself. Call them out. Set boundaries. Reduce contact or eliminate it entirely if you can. That doesn’t always work with people you’re stuck with, however. It’s hard.
I get rid of them if at all possible, because I don’t have the health to deal with them. Nor should I have to. I remind myself that the way they are is not my fault, and that my health/safety is a priority.
There are a lot of articles about manipulators, narcissists, “crazymakers”, etc. online. Don’t hesitate to conduct a search. You may get some good advice.
