I don’t know that I have a perfect weekend in mind. I just wish I wasn’t weak or broke or in pain. I’d like to be able to do what I want.
What is something people are often surprised to learn about you?
I think people who meet me today would be surprised to know that I was a holy roller in my younger days. I’ve read the Bible many times, used to memorize scripture, used to teach classes and write devotionals and poetry. I grew up in a hyper-religious atmosphere that was very controlling and damaging. I still have a lot of therapy ahead of me to deal with it all.

Have you ever been to a comedian show? Would you ever go if you could? Who would you go and see? Who would you bring with you?
I worked a Mark Lowry show when I was 19. I used to be involved in Christian radio, and met a lot of popular artists from the 90s. Mark was one of them. I’m not sure if he still does comedy, but he used to. I also saw several other comedians who visited churches back in the day. I don’t care for it that much, although I like to laugh. Most of the ones I encountered weren’t very nice.

Find a distraction that requires all of your mental abilities. Or sleep. That’s all I can think of.

They are a huge store that sells cheap furniture.
It does look very large, bigger than Sam’s Club, but similar. Sam’s has a cafe too, but it’s pizza and hot dogs.

It's kinda a huge huge huge furniture, furnishings & housewares store that happens to have a cafe. I believe it's a swedish company. Lingonberry sauce is great too!
