I’m not afraid of them, but it’s inconsiderate to give someone a pet as a gift unless it was previously discussed and agreed upon.

Okay people. We are now being told, we are at the very apex of the flu epidemic. And to stay in houses, and visit no one, not even family members that may come to visit. I have read it online. The warning was online. What are your thoughts on it? Legitimate or not?
My blunt opinion: If you don’t work in an “essential” job, stay home.
This country is in horrendous shape because social distancing was disregarded for too long. The virus doesn’t travel alone. People carry it. Therefore, limit contact with people. It’s really that straightforward. Influenza has a treatment. This does not. If your body doesn’t fight it off, with or without the aid of a ventilator, you’re dead. It’s not worth the risk. People you don’t live with need to stay away. It’s temporary and it’s not the end of the world, IF proper precautions are taken now. Some of the people who contracted this virus a month ago are just now showing symptoms and dying. That’s how long it can linger. So all of that time, those poor people had it and were unknowingly exposing others.
Just do what you have to do to be safe and keep others safe. Go out for supplies if you have to (food, whatever) but take every precaution suggested, please. I want you and your loved ones to be ok.

Is it fair to cut their thorns off, which will leave scars? Just because you can't love them the way they are.
It’s best to leave them alone if you can’t accept them as they are. Being with someone with the purpose of changing them to suit your own comfort is not love.
Aren't we all a mere display of disappointment, to someone or atleast one? It doesn't matter what cost your heart, what breaks you, what broke you.... One last time...try to forgive.... it's hard, but it certainly worthy for someone's repentance.. Live long....
