Which dog breed do you resemble the most by appearance/character?
Probably a cocker spaniel
How often do you get asked the same question?
Some common questions, I’ve received often, such as my relationship status or astrological sign. That’s to be expected, though. Occasionally, Ask recycles specific questions for some reason. I usually just delete those.
How would you react if there was a spider in the loo?
Funny story, I launched off of the toilet once because a spider startled me, lol. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
What's the coolest animal you've gotten to interact with? 😁 In what context did you do it and to what extent?
I’ve fed a giraffe at a zoo, and held a couple of snakes raised by my brother-in-law.
Which movie that you've seen do you think has zero flaws? 🤔😊 Do you think most people who've seen it would agree with you?
No movie is flawless, but honestly it’s all a matter of opinion anyway.
What do you think people think about you?
Passionate, prudish, overthinker, sensitive, charitable, loner, somewhat unpredictable (like a ninja, baby!), unlucky, a “keyboard warrior” who will argue with anyone online but bashful and introverted in person, triggered in regards to social justice and human rights, but calmer and shyer face-to-face than expected, knowledgable about certain things, inexperienced about others things, book smart but not street smart, sickly (that’s putting it lightly), cautious, intolerant of people’s BS, and a bit silly.
If you had to celebrate christmas in another place than where you live, where'd you go? Why? 😁🎄
I’d love to experience it in a snowy village like I see in photos and on TV. It doesn’t snow here.
Have you ever had a movie marathon? 🤔😊 Of what movies?
Harry Potter, Star Wars, Planet Earth, Doctor Who, Alan Rickman movies, Buster Keaton movies
What is your favourite pastime at this stage of your life?
Napping, reading, going to the park, eating when I feel well enough to do so, visiting museums, learning new things, and did I mention napping?
I’ve met a ton of people. It’s the norm these days to be a part of online groups who meet in person to discuss writing or go to conventions or attend concerts. I don’t do online dating, though, if that’s what you mean. I would never meet someone online and be alone with them in a private location. Public events only.
A woman on Twitter said that not bearing children is a sin, and that birth control is a sin as well. She’s one of those “quiverfull” cult people. I replied that she is ableist, prejudiced, and needs to pursue an education and stop discriminating against her own gender.Arguing with someone in person almost never happens. Someone has to push me pretty hard for me to rise to confrontation. I’m more likely to remove myself from the situation instead.
In Sweden we have a tradition of playing christmas games where you play for christmas presents in a pile by throwing dice and getting the correct numbers. Some numbers force you to switch presents with others and such. Thoughts? 😁 You have anything similar to that? 🤔
It sounds almost the same as Dirty Santa. Everyone brings a gift. A number is drawn to find out which gift the first person receives. Then the next person chooses a gift and can force the person before thrm to trade. It goes on until all gifts are unwrapped and everyone has something.
How good would you say your gift-wrapping skills are? Haha
Not very good unless the gift is a perfect rectangle, haha.
What means “de kat krabt de krullen van de trap”?
Without looking it up, I can tell you it’s Dutch and involves a cat and its claws. That’s the best I can do without Google.
Have you heard about the lying front bencher and the pinocchio politician?
I haven’t, but it’s not surprising to see a politician having the nickname Pinocchio.
Do you believe in Wikipedia?
Wikipedia is a fantastic resource when used properly. It has actually saved my life. Long story. The key is references. Wikipedia itself shouldn’t be cited as a valid reference, but if valid references are cited within the content, the content should be accepted and respected just like anywhere else.
