I wouldn’t survive 20 days, much less 20 years. My health is very poor.

I wouldn’t choose anyone to be stranded with me, but I’m sure I would daydream about them. 👍🏼

I am a grits connoisseur, sir. I’ve been eating it all my life, and I’m confident in my secret recipe.

My grandmother grew up at Sciple’s Mill in rural Mississippi. They made grits and corn meal. It’s a big part of my heritage. She grew up to marry a man from Philadelphia, Mississippi, and eventually settled south in Pascagoula. She used to cry reminiscing about the mill, and ate corn meal in buttermilk almost daily.

I like the artistic elements, but I don’t participate. I don’t have the health for it. There is a Mardi Gras museum in a nearby city that’s really cool. The costumes are beautiful.

Yeah, I prefer rock. Journey, Heart, Chicago, Doobie Brothers, REO Speedwagon, pretty much all of the “hair bands” of the 80s and 90s. Soft rock, classic rock, and a little bit of alternative rock are my go-to favorites. More modern stuff would be something like Panic! At The Disco or the newest Beck album. I’m ok with some folk rock or country rock as well: Mumford and Sons, The Eagles.

My answer is the same no matter who you are. Blood means nothing.

I have a lot of no-nos. Violence. Abuse. Probably all of the “isms” - racism, fascism, ableism, etc. I have very few real relationships. Considering how damaging people from my past have been, my standards are pretty high these days, and I’m not going to apologize for that.
