It’s possible, yes, but most people are sexual by nature so sexual activity is a natural progression. It sounds like you may be asexual (straight ace) and would benefit from a relationship with someone who is also asexual. There’s nothing wrong with that at all (I’m demi myself), but you will want to find the right kind of person. If this is something you want to pursue, perhaps join an asexual community on social media to get input. The most well-known community is called AVEN.

I’m so sorry for your loss. Grief is a process that comes and goes in waves; you just have to allow it. Consider grief counseling, if you can.
