What type of therapy are you doing? I did a year of one on one and group therapy as part of my pain management treatment.

I found a low-income clinic and voluntarily enrolled in counseling to address PTSD, anxiety, pain, and grief. I learned after a short time there that I also have suicidal ideation. I took some time off, but plan to resume in February. As for what I do on weekends, I am a founding member of a private online support group hosted by a psychologist where we learn about healing our own trauma through various cognitive techniques.
I hope therapy helped you cope with your pain. It is hard to live this way.

Do you ever see someone else answer a question and wish someone had asked you that question?

Not usually. I still have many unanswered questions of my own in my inbox. I’m overwhelmed with this VIP thing, but I’ll eventually get to them.

If you could create your own job, what would it be for and what would the title be?

How good are you at expressing your emotions? Do you find difficulties at turning your thoughts into audible words?

I do think it can be challenging, depending on the emotion and the severity of the situation. perhaps. However, the more safe and comfortable I feel with someone, the easier it is, certainly. I have no issues expressing my emotions with a few people. Most people aren’t close enough for my comfort. It’s important to be allowed to express feelings in a healthy way, without criticism. Managing emotions, no matter what they are, is a daily part of life for everyone.
