My last name means something along the lines of "building and sawing wood or brush". My ancestors were French Master Carpenters. They made furniture and cabinetry.

Do you agree that what's bad for your heart is good for your art?

I wouldn't say it motivates me, but it works for some people.

If you were given a time machine to travel backwards in time, what are the three mistakes that you would want to rectify?

I've been in three intimate relationships in my life, so that's an easy answer. All three were serious mistakes.
Bonus answers: I would have never stepped foot in three certain doctors' offices or three certain churches. All mistakes.

Would you ever get a piercing? Where?

No. I had pierced ears and they stayed infected no matter what I did, so I'm done.

What kind of pet would you like to have in the future?

I guess in my fantasy world of pet ownership, I would have a friendly cat, and maybe a gypsy vanner. I also love corgis and golden retrievers, but I am badly allergic.

Why would you expect only one or the other when it is possible to be both?

This may surprise some people, but I'd rather go out even though I cook often.

It's my food, therefore I am not stealing it.

Which series would you recommend watching now?

I don't know what to recommend because your preferred genre matters to me. Have you watched BBC's Sherlock? It was incredible.

What's your currently favorite show on TV?

I don't own a television, but I like Doctor Who and Stranger Things. I watch online sometimes.

What are you really good at?

Not much. Overthinking? Overexplaining? Worrying? Does that count? I can write research papers. I'm not a terrible cook. If you need to budget money, I'm your girl. I'm also really good at rejecting desperate men on social media. I'll be your friend, though.

What's the longest you've gone without accessing the internet?

Well that's an easy one: the first 20 years of my life!

Would you like to become a president of your country? Why/why not?

Heck no. I have no desire whatsoever to be in charge of this deranged circus.

If you could steal something and get away with it, what would you steal?

F that. I've never stolen anything in my life, and never will.

who are you when no one's watching?

I probably curse more when I'm alone. I'm more unreserved in general because nobody's judging me, so I don't feel the need to filter my reactions to things. Do you act the same way at home watching sports as you do in a business meeting? Everyone has a public persona and a private one. That's normal.

Favorite Halloween movie?

I don't think I have a favorite movie! I'm not a big watcher of horror, although I am more likely to watch it if it involves science fiction (such as Doctor Who). I've enjoyed the Netflix series Stranger Things most recently.
