Living comfortably in a city I love, physically capable of doing whatever I choose as a career, traveling occasionally, working with kids every once in a while, single and completely independent.Ideally, I would choose to be a successful published author, possibly children's books, which would allow me to travel for book signings and hang with kids. (I thought this through more than I realized)
Do you have phobias?
Roaches!
If you had a boat, what would you name it?
I love this question. I might name it Silk Ridge II, as my PawPaw's boat was called Silk Ridge and it is no longer in existence. It's a sentimental memory, though. If I didn't go with that, it might be something simple such as my last name, or something cute and Southern like Gulf Coast Girl, Shrimp & Grits, or Bowl O' Gumbo. :-)
If you had to evacuate your house immediately, what is the one thing you would grab on the way out?
My Macbook Pro. Dead serious.
Do you prefer talking or texting?
Definitely texting. Don't make me answer a phone. It hurts my head.
What's the longest you've waited in line and what were you waiting for?
All day long at Six Flags for a music event.
Would you choose money or fame?
This is super easy - money. I would move to a secret place and live a comfortable private life.
What is the most interesting city to visit in your country?
Well I imagine I'm biased since I'm a Gulf Coast girl, but I have to say New Orleans. It's not my favorite city, but it is incredibly unique and a place that I think everyone should visit before they die.
Are you afraid of the dark?
As long as I am safe wherever it is that I am, then no, I am not afraid at all. I've grown up in way too many tropical storms (including a dozen hurricanes) to freak out over the lights going out. One time my lights went out on my car while I was driving late at night, though, and that was actually pretty scary because I couldn't see where I was going. I'm lucky I made it home safely.
What is your favorite thing in your room?
Here's a hint: It starts with a "p" and ends with "illows".
If you had wings, where would you fly?
"Wings" is the word of the week, I see. Well, I'd probably fly all over North America to see the sights, then fly over the pond to Europe and do the same thing. Of course, I'd also visit my nieces and a few friends along the way.
I wish I could give you wings. Instead I will just have to love you and give you friendship.
I love wings! Hot wings, Honey BBQ wings...hehe just kidding.Without a doubt, true friendship is the best possible thing you can do for me, and I thank you sincerely.
How would you like to celebrate your next birthday?
It's in 13 days, actually. I've been very ill for over a month and I'd really like to be able to walk and drive by my birthday so I can go where I want to go and do what I want to do.
Who did you last say “I love you” to?
Freddy
If you could change one thing in the world, what would it be?

Where is the funniest place you have ever fallen asleep?
At the dining room table with my hands on the laptop keyboard in mid sentence.
What is the most heroic thing you’ve ever done?
I've talked more than a few people out of suicide, but I don't think that's terribly heroic. Anybody in their right mind would have done the same. Go talk to a volunteer firefighter or EMT if you want a hero.

I've had several:Kel Kelli Welly Jelly Belly Jelly Bean Lulu Eeyore Ice Queen - given to me by a man, of course...ROFL...where's my tiara? I want a sparkly one. :)
