I went on a New Orleans food tour and it blew my mind. I've only visited 2x. But I imagine the gulf region has much to offer.
NOLA has the best food in the country, IMO. Of course I haven’t been everywhere 😅 so I guess I’m biased. I’m from nearby in Mississippi but now live on the Alabama coast and we have a lot going on as well. Some people call us Little New Orleans because of the similarities. It was all Louisiana territory back when my ancestors settled here, and that influence remains solid today. We just have better traffic...barely. 😂

that's amazing! The body is fascinating. We feel limited and boom we are told we are a gift! I've got to ask my mom what hers is. Its not as rare as yours but it's the kind they want for the infants too.

My mom has a rare blood type as well!! We both donate but they call her for plasma for infants often. You Superhuman you!
It was such an interesting thing to learn about and I wish that I had known when I was much much younger. Not only am I Rh negative, but also missing the Fy(a) antibody in the Duffy blood group that most white people have, but somehow I don’t! I’m also C negative, E negative, K negative, and Jk(b) negative. So I am ultra rare. Fascinating stuff! They were really happy I was willing, and I’m grateful to be able to help.

What thought is giving you a good boost of positive vibes for 2021?
On the 1st, I learned my blood is so rare that I am among 6% of the world population that can donate blood to infants needing transfusion. I’ll do it regularly as long as I’m physically well enough. It gives me purpose.

favorite kind of Italian dish?
Hard to say. Italian cooking is what I studied for a long time, and it’s my favorite cuisine. I love Shrimp Alfredo. I love Chicken Marsala. I love lasagna. Tuscan chicken. Italian wedding soup. Tomato basil bisque. Shrimp Scampi. Italian bread. All things pizza! Impossible to say.
