I hate huge grocery shopping trips!!! what are you fav three/four/five ingredient meals?
Turkey (no bean) chili: ground turkey, chili seasoning, broth, tomatoes and green chilies
Fish filet baked in parchment with butter and seasoning
Cajun shrimp and grits (same thing as polenta): saute shrimp in butter and Cajun seasoning, trinity optional, make grits according to directions, heavy cream and cheese optional
Chicken noodle soup: white meat, broth, noodles, optional veggies
Cheddar potato soup: broth, diced potatoes, chopped yellow onion, heavy cream, cheddar, season to taste

What is your favorite holiday of the year and why is that your favourite?
I don’t seem to have one. I mean I really only celebrate Christmas because I have nieces and nephews now, so I guess I like it but I didn’t like it for a very long time. I still struggle with how commercialized it is. And some people around me are just stupidly dramatic about it. No holiday is that serious to me anymore. But I’ll say Christmas, I guess, for the kiddos.

What life lesson did you learn the hard way?
Don’t trust people just because they say they’re Christians. I learned that they are no more trustworthy than any other human being and in fact some of them are dangerous.

My sister-in-law is also completely obsessed. I saw the first season only; it’s definitely super weird and I understand the fascination because it is so well done. The actor reminds me of Christopher Lambert, aka The Highlander in the 80s and 90s. The stories aren’t too far off from each other as well.
