It depends on what you mean by “worth it”. It’s been useful so far for me when friends come over and for my little nephews and nieces to play, so yes, it’s definitely worth it for me.

It depends on your outlook on life.
It'd be depressing if you spend your whole life trying so hard to be someone else, and growing older, you'll start to regret not making the most out of your time.
It'd be a happy occasion if you've spent your life doing the things you love, spending time with your loved ones, and making the most out of your time. This way, growing older is just a part of your journey, to spend some down time with grandkids or giving back to the community.
