If you don't mind me asking, whats the acceptance rate for transfer students at UW-Madison? I know I can find this on google(its 69%) but as a person who is there already,do you think its difficult to get in?

I applied as a freshman, not a transfer. Transfer students are relatively easier to get in as compared to freshman, just because there are more competition for freshman class as compared to transfer students. As long as you've taken pretty rigorous courses and maintain a pretty good GPA, you should be fine. But just note that sometimes the admissions can be weird (as in in Fall 2013, there were a few transfer students from INTEC who got in Madison. Fall 2014, no transfer students from INTEC. Fall 2015, a bunch of transfer students got in from INTEC). So yeah. It all depends.

wait kena book takut full? oh nooooooooo mati i camni hahaha. thanks kak syaza but the thing is my i20 form baru nak shipping to msia. takut tak sempat ://

Haha chill dulu lek. For now go familiarize with how to book a US visa interview and the process of obtaining an F1 visa dulu. Baca & faham all that you need to do and the forms that you need to fill up. Once I20 sampai terus buat and book tarikh interview. InsyaAllah ada rezeki ada la still tarikh kosong. I dont know how fast they fill up lagi2 since now people are doing their interviews to go to the US and whatnots. Good luck 😁

thanks! and one more leceh tak the process? do u think sempat for me to dl visa coz i think im going abroad less tjan a month :// my result baru keluar and im going this fall

Process a bit annoying, to book visa interview online and whatnots. But if you have your I20 already, go ahead and book your visa interview already takut dah fully booked.

"This is why you shall never asked your funny friend to snap a picture" Betul tak ayat ni?

"This is why you SHOULD never ASK your funny friend to snap / take a picture".

on average, what time did you sleep everyday when you were preparing for SPM? and what time did you wake up? 😂

Well I live in a boarding school so it's light out at 10:30pm (I think?), though sometimes I get extensions until 11pm so I can study for a while. At home I usually sleep late. I wake up for Subuh & straight away for class. During exam weeks sometimes I wake up at 4am and pray and study in the surau downstairs alone until Subuh.

hi!! i'm 15 and having my o levels next year (: prior to ur spm examination, how long in advance did you start preparing for it?

Err, I don't remember how early I started preparing for it, but I know that I had my SPM in November 2011 and my trial SPM around August/September 2011 (a little bit after Raya in that year), and I have at least started preparing for it (as in seriously downloading past years and all) early in the year.

Apa maksud blessing in disguise and macam mana nak sebut disguise?

Disguise, "dis" as in "this", and "guise" as in "gais / guys".
Blessing in disguise macam nak cakap ada rahmat / kebaikan di sebalik sesuatu yang berlaku, even if kita rasa benda tu macam tak best / buruk.
Like, contohnya, kita nak pergi holiday kat Thailand dengan kawan tapi parents tak bagi. Kita memberontak cakap parents tak faham kita la, protective sangat lah, tak percaya lah kita la semua tu. Pastu kita asyik dok emo cakap nak pergi nak pergi semua tapi still tak dapat. Little did we do, tiba-tiba kat Thailand kena banjir ke, gempa bumi ke apa. Kalau kita pergi, kita stuck in the disaster. So the fact that kita tak dapat pergi ke Thailand is a blessing in disguise, sebab kita tak suka but in fact kalau kita pergi nanti ada benda buruk akan berlaku.

akk US raya sama tarikh dgn malaysia ke?

Taktahu lagi. Takde announcement yet but biasanya sama je.

Hi. How did you get your website domain? I just started blogging and I find that purchasing a domain is super expensive! What are your suggestions? Thank you!

Hi! If you're only referring to the domain name (ie yourname.com or yourname.my), then it's relatively cheap (RM30-150 per month depending on the extension, which registrar you're buying it from, for how long, etc) as compared to actually buying a hosting package (RM100++++ per year depending on how much control, storage, website, traffic, etc you want for your sites, etc). If you're only just starting out in the blogging world, I recommend just buying a domain name and pointing it to your blog. When I first start to buy my own domain (syazanazura.com), I bought it on NetKL.com for about RM35 per year, and for a small fee, they helped me point it to my blog on BlogSpot so that everytime people go to syazanazura.blogspot.com, they would get redirected to syazanazura.com . Though, after a few years, I decided to host my blog on my own so I bought my own hosting and everything (I've tried GoDaddy for the first year and now on BlueHost).
So my suggestion to you is if you're only starting out, just go ahead and buy a domain name first to secure it, and you can worry about hosting packages in the future when you've got a following or when you actually need a hosting plan. 😊

Hye kak syaza 🙋 Kak Syaza pernah raya Madison ke? And ape perasan raya dekat sana and dekat msia

Hi 🙋 Malangnya aku balik Malaysia every single summer, so raya Aidilfitri tak pernah lagi kat US. Raya Aidiladha pernah lah but it's during the school day so takat skip kelas pagi tu pergi solat raya, lepak makan kat Denny's then sambung pergi kelas / part time job 😅 Manade cuti bro kalau raya kat sana. Ada jugak yang ada exams la and whatnots during raya. 😅😅

Salam, kak syaza dr adfp kan kat intec? Sy nak tanya, biasa akak study ada pakai reference book x? Boleh suggest x reference books yg mana yg bagus? (Non-english subjects like calculus etc.)

Waalaikumsalam. Hi, yes I did my ADFP in INTEC. I didn't actually use any reference books other than the one for SAT (either Barron, CollegeBoard or Princeton Review). For Calculus, INTEC gave us all textbooks so I used that. Other than that, there wasn't any need for reference books for me.

mcm mana boleh jadi editorial rage? prosedur sama untuk the star biasa ke?

Biasanya RAGE selalu buat like workshop or something untuk students join, some lalu ikut tu. Other than that, aku taksure la.

have you ever really wanted to ask a question, but you didn't because you knew in your heart that you wouldn't be able to handle the answer?

That happens to everyone, don't worry. Sometimes, not knowing the answer is the best option, no matter what.

ok im sorry. i just read a quote " find the sweetness in your own heart, that you may find the sweetness in every heart". so thats why i asked you that quest

The "sweetness" that the quote meant may refers to a lot of things, such as:
1) Positivity
2) Kindness
3) A bunch of other stuff.
One of the things that it may meant to "find the sweetness in your own heart, that you may find the sweetness in every heart" is probably if you find the kindness in your own heart, you'll be able to see kindness in everyone else's.
i.e. Like if you look at the world with negativity and hatred and whatnot, you'll be looking at everything and everyone with such negativity and hatred. But if you have a sense of positivity and are kind to everyone, you'll have a more positive outlook on life in general.
(hope this makes sense)
